im pretty sure the 623 kick 236 kick to cancel a dp into super works, thats how i have been doing it. Try doing it faster

Not sure about cancels, but to do CA you do need the two full circles.

But @aliquis , doing DP with shortcut is still advisable, specially for AA. You don’t want to be standing before uppercutting since you can get hit by the jump in earlier. 623+K or even 323+K is the way to go.

I have experimented a bit, it seems there is still a shortcut for super, you can 236 (2) 36 (skip the down in the second quarter circle) and it still counts.

It makes super canceling easier(i use a stick) but still i would prefer the shortcut to be like sf4 that you can skip the forward instead but i guess this shortcut is better than none.

yea i know u need 2 full circles, but to cancel the dp into CA i just use 623 kick and then 236 kick right after, and the dp hits and cancels into the CA.

Did you check your inputs, maybe you accidentally hit a forward in between?

I can be wrong of course too i hope i can test this the next days in the beta and see whats up.

I messed with it a little bit for around 5 minutes. Couldn’t link st.mp after v-skill (no range), but I got it to work easily with st.hp and cr.mp.
Did I screw up badly or does cr.mp really have a greater range than st.mp?

You can cancel V-trigger DP into CA now. I think that’s new

Thats actually been there forever, its just the cancel window is super small.
Anyone else feel as if they reduced advantage on V-triggered divekick? Hard to get a st.MP now

I’m getting thrown or counterhit after ex divekick and that used to be my garanteed frame trap setup, but datamining had no changes to divekick afaik

So I managed to move my fat ass out of my bed after the gf woke me up with the words: STAND UP YOU IDIOT THE BETA IS UP!

How has her divekick now changed? Fells like I’m finaly + if I hit the opponent below the chest.

Apparently they reduced advantage on ex divekick, regular has damage increased to 60 like the one from hooligan.
Also st.HP got a range buff so you don’t have to walk forward after a pointblank v-trigger cancel for st.MP, st.HP.

Alot of folks getting blown up by V-Skill into st.HP, trying to press buttons after blocking the V-Skill.

Also, been playing turtley as fuck and winning. Don’t know how many Ryu’s I’ve beaten by just standing still and neutral jumping over fireballs.

Playing reasonably aggressive this time. I just keep doing three hits and mix that up with dash throw or delay one of the hits then go for a counter-hit confirm. Offline i think single hit hit-confirms will be a deal, but online fuck that.

Switching the right times between Rushdown and Zoning is extremly effective. To bad that everyone and their mother starts to jump like crazy if they can’t win with fireballs.

Also Birdies seem to be a good spot to practice whiffpunishing against, they never stop pressing all buttons.

b. MP is your friend it trades some times but it has been preventing my life from being absolute hell.

They increased the range of s.fp? That shit was already pretty massive and abusable. Probably her best button now (which it was already preety amazing imo)

Quick question, what’s the difference between EX Hooligan xx divekick and EX arrow after b.mp,hk target aside from 8 more damage and a sideswitch for the latter?
