Cammy CH Combos into Ultra 1

So, ever since I knew from AE you could do some weird combos on Yun and Yang that would hit ultra 1 I was thinking if that would work on other characters, but just picked this up to test yesterday, and in almost everyone you can do some of this combos at the right distance and starting with the right button, even though some has very strict timing. I actually don’t know if there’s already a thread like that and I don’t have a way to record this too, that could be easier to understand and less boring. I don’t know if this is very useful since you already can CH cr.HP, ultra 1 on everyone, but I guess it’s cool to know and try some of them on the matches, and I actually don’t like to hit confirm CH cr.HP cause I miss time it a lot when I’m not really expecting to get a CH, but with more than one move it’s easier to confirm, do more damage and it’s way more flashy too(which Cammy players usually like to be), and I think those combos became even easier after someone posted a video of how to plink ultras, some of the combos have a strict timing at that part.

I made a list with the setups to get the right range for the combo to work, a lot of them are at point-blank range(that’s what ‘pb’ stands for), so those are easier I think, then there’s the other ones there it’s written ‘blocked something’, some of them are very specific. All the combos are aimed for CH on crouch techs, so it’s always on crouching opponent. On the setups if there’s a /(slash) it means you can use both and have the same result, the // is just to separate combo from combo. I think I wrote the setups kinda confusing, so if someone don’t understand something just asks, I’m lazy to do revise all the stuff. I guess on Juri, Balrog and Rose I didn’t found anything, and Ryu, Ken, Evil Ryu and Cammy are pretty difficult to hit, so if anyone could come with something reliable it would be cool. If there’s already a thread of those, I’m sorry, I didn’t try to search or anything, so just ignore.

So, just to remember:

pb is point-blank range.
blocked something is to set the right range.
/ means both options gives the same result.
// is just to separate the combos.
other abbreviations I guess everyone knows already, if not, just ask.

Cammy CH combos:

Ryu - pb, CH cl.HP, cr.MP, cr.HK/far HK // CH cr.MP, cr.HP, ultra 1 (the range of this is really hard to set, between pb and blocked cr.LP, very impractical in my opinion)

Ken - pb, CH cl.HP, cr.MP, cr.HK/far HK // CH cr.MP, cr.HP, ultra 1 (same as Ryu)

E.Honda - pb, CH cl.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cr.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1

Ibuki - pb, CH cr.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.MP, cr.HP, ultra 1

Makoto - blocked cl.LP, CH cr.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.HP, cr.MP, far HK

Dudley - blocked cl.LP/cl.LK~cr.LP, CH cr.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.HP, cr.MP, far HK

Seth - pb/blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cr.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cl.MP/cr.MP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.HP, cr.MP, far HK

Gouken - blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cl.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.HP, cr.HP, far HK

Akuma - blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cl.MP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.HP, cr.MP, cr.HK

Gen - pb/blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cr.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.MP/cr.MP, cr.HP, ultra 1

Dan - pb/blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cr.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1

Sakura - pb/blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cr.HP, delayed cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.MP/cr.MP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.HP, cr.MP, far HK

Oni - blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cl.MP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.HP, cr.MP, cr.HK

Yun - pb/blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cr.HP, delayed cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.MP, cr.HP, ultra 1

Juri - couldn’t find anything =S

Chun Li - pb/blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cr.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.MP/cr.MP, cr.HP, ultra 1
ps: not a CH combo, but you can combo a delayed cr.HP into Ultra 1 after EX CS on her crouching.

Dhalsim - blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cl.MP/cr.MP, cr.HP, ultra 1
ps: the combo that works on Chun Li after EX CS works on him too.

Abel - pb, CH cl.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.HP, cr.HP, far HK

C.Viper - pb/blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cr.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.HP, cr.MP, cr.HK

Dictator - blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cl.MP/cr.MP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb CH cl.HP, cr.MP, cr.HK/far HK

Sagat - pb, CH cl.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.HP, cr.MP, far HK

Cammy - pb, CH cr.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 (i didn’t get how to make it work all the time on Cammy, the 2nd cr.HP hits and whiffs kinda randomly)

DeeJay - pb/blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cr.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1

Cody - pb/blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cr.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.MP/cr.MP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.HP, cr.MP, far HK

Blanka - blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cl.MP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cr.HP, cr.MP, far HK

Zangief - blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cl.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.HP, cr.MP, far HK

Rufus - blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cl.MP/cr.MP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.MP, cr.HP, far HK

El Fuerte - pb/blocked cl.LP(easier)/cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cr.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb/ blocked cl.LK CH cl.MP/cr.MP, cr.HP, ultra 1

Claw - pb, CH cl.MP/cr.MP, cr.HP, ultra 1

Boxer - couldn’t find anything too, not that I were expecting anything to work on his ridiculous hitbox though.

Fei Long - pb/blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cr.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb, CH cl.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb CH cl.HP, cr.MP, cr.HK/far HK

T.Hawk - pb, CH cl.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1 // pb CH cl.HP, cr.MP, far HK

Adon - pb/blocked cr.LP/cr.LK, CH cr.HP, cr.HP, ultra 1

Rose - didn’t found anything.

Really nice work, thanks for taking the time to test all of these.

I had only tested a couple variants before so most of this hasn’t been documented before. Would you mind if I add some of the more practical ones to my combo lists?

Not at all man, it would be good for people to know the more reliable ones and stuff, cause there are some(or a lot, maybe) that seems very unlikely to hit in a real match, so it’s kinda pointless try to memorize all this and never be able to actually land some of them.

Agreed this is some nice work put in, thanks for sharing.

wheres airamae when you need one :frowning:

who’s airamae? =S

lol don’t know who he is though, but yeah, it’s the same stuff in his video but only one setup, just knew about those things in AE times cause I saw someone talking about it working on Yun or Yang somewhere on the internet.

this works on a standing seth as well.

Oh, yeah, some(or a lot, idk) of those combos might work on standing too, but you’ll hardly hit a counter on someone standing at close range cause if they get hit standing by a frame trap it might be cause they tried to stand grab or jump out, and you won’t get a counter hit in any of those situations, that’s why I only tested the chars crouching since it’s when you usually hit a counter due to crouch tech attempts or crouch jabs. But thanks to point that out, it might work on some moves like Viper’s ex seismo and some other moves that loses invincibility before the startup. I’ll test that later.
