since SBO2 qualifiers just ended, i’m sure we all know that socal
had a strong showin’ in 3s and ggxx so to honor socals finest in
their efforts up north, and to help ‘em out with plane ticket prices,
i wanna’ do this weekly as a fundraiser if everyone’s willing. the
entry fee’s will be $2 for team tournaments and $2 for singles
tournaments. half of the pot will go towards the socal reps for
sbo2.
also, this week will be a little different in that it will be team
tournies as well as singles. read on for more information.

i dont know about the games i dont run personally, but i **will
** allow people to show up late and join in the losers bracket
first round if there’s spots. if not, you’re outta’ luck. but i do
let that slide if there’s spots.
last time i ran the tournies, there was a big mixup in marvel
due to half the bracket showin’ up a bit late (cough junior :P). it’s
cool and all, but just know you’re gonna’ end up playin’ your
homies due to the fact that we’ll probably have started the
brackets already.

singles games are pretty standard.
cvs2 is gonna’ have 2/3 in winners
one game in losers, finals are 2/3
3s is gonna’ be 2/3 throughout and
finals will be 3/5

the tourney and the team itself (the players) have to
keep the same order.

all games are double elimination, standard shit. dq’s
and all that good stuff for glitches and whatnot.
it would be ideal for all the qualifiers to show up so that
they can get another shot at winnin’ some more money
along with the quals money, but also to collect their
portion of the funds. i’d rather give to the money to the
player personally than give it to someone else to give it
to them or have to arrange for us to meet to give you the
money. so if you qualified, please try and make it to the
tourney, if only just to collect your money. 
the plan for this tourney is to announce it enough in
advanced to get a bomb turnout. this is to get somethin’
new goin’ at camelot with the team tournies, get some
good comp, and to help out those that are gonna’ rep us
in japan at sbo2. hopefully two weeks is enough to get
the word out to all the players so that the pot isnt just
chicken scratch that’ll pay for earphones on the plane
or some ramen once they get to japan.
any comments or any mistakes i might’ve made, please
point 'em out so we can run a tournament that brings
heat.
