errr. don’t even compare CoD 4 to Halo. CoD 4 is a good game. Halo isn’t. This comes from an FPS lover

This is true.

Anyways, my gt is to the left. GO

Just finished Mile High on Veteran. Had a blast trying to do this. Going to start campaign on Veteran as well.

COD4 is soooo good. I’m at level 30 right now and having fun unlocking all of the guns/challenges etc. The only problem I have with the multiplayer is that you’re at a bit of a disadvantage at when you start at the low level ranks, but the game really opens up once you gain experience points and start to unlock the perks.

I think the single player is great considering how short it is compared to Halo 3. It’s so much more intense and movie-like, plus the ending is amazing.

Halo 3 is like the Fisher Price toy of FPS games. The new maps are fun, but COD4 is the shit! It’s so much more polished with everything being so clean and smooth. Take no prisoners comrades! Our UAV is online!

halo3 >>cod4

I’ve been obsessed with Halo since it’s debut on xbox, and imo, you can’t really compare the two games. Halo to me requires much more skill then strategy, while COD4 is also skill but a SHITLOAD of strategy(knowing where/when to lay, when to sprint, using silenced weapons, PERKS, etc.). I really loved halo but damn COD4 is just something else.

Also, COD4 doesn’t charge for new maps:tup:

NOT trying to sound like a Halo fanboy but for the most part Halo 2 was all about skill and strategy. At the highest level of play where all the team works together and lock a place down is pretty cool. I remember back when I played that I would read the teams strategy and find a way to break it by either taking out the most important member or gaining control of a weapon. Same for weapons, when I played and got sniped. I’d memorize where that person was and all the positions and weapons of the other characters. There’s no run in that game but I would know where I could go w/o getting sniped or battle rifled.

That said I was EXTREMELY disappointed with Halo 3, though and it just went down hill. It doesn’t even feel like a fps.

COD4 tactics are pretty cool as well, I wish I could shoot from a corner like the cpu in campaign can do but, everything else is near perfect. I don’t like team games all that much since it’s primarily the same tactic in most fps: gain control of an area and maintain it. But, for FFA the strategy sky rockets w/ knowing where people are, gaining radar, jet strike, chopper, and using other players weapons.
