Man this tournament was so much fun I am still hype even after waking up at 5am to catch a flight and go strait into work! I learned so much and felt like by Sunday finally started to come around with execution, feeling comfortable on the set up and over all leveled up so it was well worth the trek down south. Denjin Arcade is an amazing place, super dope set up… B2B cabs is the way to go for sure…

I had alot of fun in the SF4 team tourney even though I didn’t play very well. I give all the credit to my teammates Carlos and Juan. I was too tired to go on Sunday so I missed out on the action.

I’m soooo glad Denjin decided to purchase my SF4 board. That team tournament would’ve had to been changed to single elimination. There’s no way it would have been completed with only one setup.

I’d like to thank everyone that came out, I really didn’t expect that many people, but here are some specifics.

First, I’d like to thank those that helped me take registrations: Dae, shoo, Luka, Muffin, Busta for helping me get those 64 man brackets.

Thanks to those that helped make brackets and run brackets: Combo, Tyram, Dentron, Cesar (NP anytime), Bean, Pherai, Shoo, Dae, ytwojay, and if I forgot, then sorry, but it was a lot of people. And the hunters who went to get people for me on 3s.

Thanks to Hawaii for coming here, hope you go shopping at a nice place James. We will all play again soon. Dagger Remy is too good.

Thanks for Arizona for coming and being 3rd Strike lovers and I guess SF4 lovers now (Sabre). Norcal players. Its unfortunate that all the players are spread so far apart and we couldn’t play any casuals only tourney. One day, there will be a city built for us called Sado Metropolis, and we will all live there and play 3rd Strike. Good to finally meet Mr. Bags, and Rom, thanks for kicking my ass. You are all lucky Blakuma wasn’t here. And of course the up and coming Norcal 3s players, always fun and nice to meet the guys and having a good talk with you guys.

3rd Strike will never die. 3rd Strike had the same entrants as Sf4 in teams and almost as many in singles.

The SF4 Grand Finals were heartbreaking for me, but so hype nonetheless.
3v3 especially, the entire set was a huge shouting match.

Thanks for hosting the tourney shogo and everyone that helped with it (oh ya and gooteks for trying to get the az player matches going faster on sf4, mucho appreciated), wish myself tt and sabre could stayed and finished the sf4 tourney but that drive is killer, we got back into phx around 4:30 am :/. I had alot of fun and forgot how much arcade tourneys just own over console, there is something to be said about the social aspect the arcade brings that console cannot.

Thanks again, and next time we will be sure to take an extra day off so we can finish, hate leaving a tourney when your not eliminated, oh well.
