This shit is pure comedy. But I think you should have every single person play for a spot in every game. It’s about skill. The question is, "Is that person gonna have that skill on that particular day? The answer is unknown. They might flop. Who knows. But that’s the way it should be, to remain fair to all that attend with the intention of showing their best and true colors.

The whole idea of guaranteed spots was simply because they are recognized as the best of socal, and have been consistent enough in tournaments that they won’t flop on some certain day. If they did flop, I’d still much have them represent then some guy who got lucky to pull himself through using a flop.
I would also have some respect for the players that Yi has listed (including himself) to be guaranteed spots. These are the players that are keeping the 3s scene alive. Without them, existing players wouldn’t be able to raise their game, simply put, because there’s nothing to aim for.
With the current trend, these players are also the top placers in all tourneys ever since post-SBO tournaments started. People have had their chances to make a name for themselves many times over, but other than Vinny, improvement seems to come really slow.
I don’t see why you bitches are complaining about the spots. Being part of the SoCal scene, all of you motherfuckers should be more than proud to have these players represent your region, seeing as how they have put 100 fold more time into the game than any of you.
That being said, Ken I is best. None of you will ever reach this man.

I will only agree to do this if FatBear agrees for the same.
Stipulations are as follows:

I will match up to $200 dollars for sidebetting on these scores. I will not be adding on an extra $200 onto the existing $300.
The maximum any one person can bet is $40.
You can bet that Fatbear will beat me by the same score or worse during SCR, and if he does, I will match your bet.
In order for this to work though, there have to be people willing to bet that I will beat FatBear 10-4 or worse.

I understand bothsides but if you’re going to hold spots for players then forget the whole qual tourney and choose the team instead. No skin off my back, I’m not complaining, just looking out for players who are trying to make their name in the fighting scene. But if people keep complaining. Simple thing to do. Have the tourney with the reserved spots, maybe keep it to the best 2 players, and if someone feels like they deserve a spot, challenge a ft10 or whatever they deem fit. Don’t categorize me with the mother fuckers please. I’m for the gaming scene, everything for the cause, know what I mean. Not trying to hate, just trying to elevate peoples’ game whether you realize it or not.
