Ray: No human can possibly do those combos. Why? Because the Sai-rec people used a programmable controller to do those comboes. I.E. You can program supers to come out with the press of a single button.

3rd Strike will feature Johnson(champion) defend the Calgary Championship in a 4 players round robin match against Long,Ian,and Erim. What a challenge!!!
Marvel vs capcom2 will feature Lester vs Byron.L vs Arnie to determine the next number one contender for Ray’s Calgary championship. The person with the best record wins.
Guilty Gear XX will feature Kevin.C(champion) defend against Derek(challenger). I witness some of their casual matches, and all I can say is “Great”.
Alpha3 continues to be one of the favorite for alot of us, so next week we will most likely have a tournament as well. So much good competition and so much fun!

but a few notes:
trung is not here. he’d bump a coupel of us around for sure.
there’s only 2 brackets available. so the other two won by ppl other than me are not available. so yeah, i only go with what i have
ian is on top because the tourney johnson left early(third place) had more ppl playing than the one johnson won first. that explains the HUGE points difference even though both are at smilar level.
my average is 2nd place finish. i think i finished every tourney or almost every tourney, 2nd place.
biggest jump? adam. he should get more look next time. maybe an intermediate bracket should be created. it’d encourages more ppl play instead of having the same ppl in the semi all the time. i suggest next 3s tourney, we don’t run the round robin. that’s retarded. only 4 pplplaying the rest are watching.
instead, create 3 seeds out of the top 4 from last tourney, then get adam to man the last bracket. and put the intermediat eplayers like, mark, eric in there. otherwise, they might not have much incentive to play cuz they knew they won’t make it past 2nd round.
taht’s my point. i strongly suggest the consideration…it gives eric and others opportunity to advance far into the bracket. and get a higher standing.
Give me some time to find the brackets… where are they now? I should still have last week’s bracket, but the ones long time ago, you are going to have to check out the old Calgary Dec 18th tourney thread to find it probably… too tired now… 5am…

i believe with the intermediate bracket created…the third and second pack would move around a lot. lester should move up. so is mark. they ought to be able to challenge adam, or nelson, or other second pack.
as for the top, until someone consistently beat johnson in finals, he’s above me and ian. god knows i tried twice to beat him in finals. i’m still searching for my first crown. enough of 2nd place.
