hey ian, if your gonna have another tekken tournament coming up why don’t you out right bann steve from play. so someone else beside brett could win. other people do it and it would level out the game some.
Here’s an idea. Why don’t you guys beat Brett in the tournament? That way… someone else besides Brett can win. Practice and level up people. I’m no Tekken expert or anything… but I doubt the Steve character is so unbeatable that he should be banned from tournaments. Tekken 5 is a new game. Get out there and practice and learn some new stuff.
Actually, the first time when Brett won a T5 tournament, he was not using Steve but Bryan.
Brett is not unbeatable by any chance, and your reason for banning a character because it gives other people a chance to win doesn’t really make any sense at all.
Brett still owes me a re-match for the demotion I suffered from him!!! I will haunt him down until the day I demote him to the lowest ranking possible!!! Brett knows it is just a matter of time, before my Ling kicks his butt badly!
Actually you lost 4 grand finals already, twice to me and twice to Johnson!!!
Okay… quick result of 3rd strike from last night:
1st Johnson- Ken SAIII
2nd Long- Chun Li SAII, Urien SAIII
3rd Ian- Makoto SAII
No, you won’t get a trophy for consistency  That is likely to cost too much!!!
Mvc2, Ray defended his mvc2 title successfully against Ian, and later won against Long in the most exciting match of all time!!! Stipulation was that Ray with the team of Zangief/cap.america/storm, loses the match if Long gets to his storm, and the storm can only come out as assist. No snap-back into storm allowed from Long. It was so great, and we were about to crown a new mvc2 champ, but too bad… maybe next time!!! :wow:
You think steve is bad?? Get a load of the roll canceling crap in cvs2… IMO most broken thing ever, but not unbeatable - and not banned!
Learn to deal with it… Steve (the character) isn’t too bad. Having said that I’m a beginner in tekken and lose something like 99% of my matches.
HAHAHA… that only proves that I suck at mvc2, but still doesn’t change the fact that you are still a loser… HAHAHAHAHA!!! Trash talk with Ray is always fun!!!
I hope your ps2 is seeing a lot of T5 action cause I’m bringing wall combos from any distance with raven, steve and bryan this weekend. Raven is 100 times cheaper then steve…but not better then him. Oh and you can have your rematch, I already know what the outcome will be.
