calgary cvs2 is getting better… it’s scary… before i really could say that it sucked… but now… i could actually say it’s average now… wow… byron was the only rc’r before… now ians in on it… and i hear byron t.o. is trying to rc too! but definately ian and byron are rc’g pretty consistently… impressive… keep up the work boys… rc’s aren’t everything, but meh… it’s cool when i do level 3 supers and they go through shit… lol fuck, that is just plain aggrevating

After watching some Japanese 3s vidoes, and a Dudley(in the semi-finals) got DOUBLE PERFECTED in record time by the champ’s Mokoto, there is no choice but to use Mokoto myself.

For those of you who are planning to come to the UofC cove on this coming Saturday(Nov6), please let me know in advance, because I may be able to talk to the owner about possibly lower the entry if there is lots of interest.
As well, street fighter alpha 3 is supposed to be back in the cove and will also be put in free play mode on Saturday during the all you can play period (between 5pm to 1 am)
just a few questions cuz i only go to cove once a month now…
- does it have a new owner? what happened to the old man?
- is this saturday thing gonnna be a weekly thingie? if so, maybe we should have weekly tourney…and have something like, 5 bucks or 3 bucks entry fee. cuz face it, cove gets no business on weekend…and if we can make this weekly, the (new) owner should do us a favor and cut the entry fee to half or something.
- is ggxx #r coming to cove? CFJ?
- can we get rid of the 3D game and put 3s on the showcase machine? it makes more money than 3d fighting game.

But damn that ninja turtling tatics do frustrate people very badly, and to be honest “ninja turtling tatics >> Ian” with the only exception of my A groove Bison… Remember what happened to your Chun-Li everytime I did a perfect activation and kicked your ass. :tup: I still like my sakura trap your silly blanka in the corner, and Garrett hates that so much, too.
You have to see Ray’s turtling, damn stupid Justin Wong’s style turtling is just out of this world. I never get so frustrated when you turtle, Byron… But stupid Ray just plays like Jwong and it is like the ultimate turtle. Damn! If anyone ever download one of those matches, I bet they will go to sleep in the first 50 seconds of the darn thing. :lame:

If you guys want weekly tournaments, here are what we need:
- more time, which means starts earlier.
- more people, less than 16 people per game is just kind of :lame:

I heard the GGXX machine has the wrong button configuration. Maybe you could ask the guy to fix it… not that I play it anyway.
mvc2 is broken because - glitches, and you CANNOT stop the rushdown, there is no such thing as turtling, only running away, but even that can be stopped
cvs2 is broken because - rc’s, turtling
3s is broken because - if u can parry a whole ken super, it’s broken. turtling always works in that game as well
if you think i’ve broken cvs2 in calgary… WHAT ON EARTH MAKES YOU THINK that 3s is going to be safe from ninja turtling tactics? :encore: :lame:
MvC1 is super broken.
I remember playing Ian back in 1st year and showing him what a crappy game it can be.
I played Garrett in high school in MvC1.
Strider/war machine or gold warmachine chip is too godly.
Never really played A3 against humans but I hear that game is all about V-Ism. Where’s ultimate mortal kombat 3???
Man, Didn’t I mention JWong’s Chun Li in 3s earlier? Honestly, like you said, most games are about turtle and run away anyways. How could you break cvs2 in Calgary when we all know turtling is powerful in the first place, I am just surprise that you can do it quite well that’s all.
Since you can make it to the tourney, I will represent you using JWong’s team in all my first round matches… what do you think? :wow:
