Thanks again for everyone coming for the Saturday event, and those who participated and helped out in the GGXX mini tournament. I still can’t believe that we actually had way more than 16 people that wanted to join GGXX. Honestly, there were two more guys(whom always play neowave) that wanted to join but they showed up too late.
Anyways, the results as follow:
1st place: Kevin Chow
2nd place: Adam
3rd place: Johnson (rx7_infini3)
4th place: Mike Lee (mgslee)
5th place: Regent (Drunken Monkey) and Derek
Good Job to everyone, especially Kevin… for being sent to the loser bracket early and made his way back to winning the entire tournament. You earned your combo#1. LOL

What do you guys want for tourney next week? If we can have a new cabinet for 3rd strike or a wider board for that matter, then 3rd strike for sure, if not… we should decide what we want.
well, how likely is it to get a wider board by next week? if not, let’s just get it over with. just make sure controllers are good to go and yeah, let’s just get it over with. that’s what i think…and the longer we delay it, the higher chances of less ppl showing up due to exams and shit…so that’s what i think…
i guess i’m voting for 3s next week.
3s would be nice… not sure i’ll come between 5-6… but i’ll see when the day comes

hm, how many seeds for 3s? how would you seed 3s? so many good players. even tini manhandles me now j/k…that was some hot ibuki action tonight…seriously now…i really think johnson and trung should be top 2.
Here is the GGXX Bracket. It’s a little difficult to understand near the top left hand corner… If something’s not right tell me and I will get it fixed (if anyone cares).
As for seeding for 3s… Assuming we’re playing 16 people, 4 seeds is the maximum right? So in my case… Seeds would definitely includ Trung and Johnson.
Edit: Forgot to say~ =P Thanks goes to Johnson (and anyone who helped!) for running this GGXX tourney. GGXX isn’t my cup of tea and I’m just so very glad that I didn’t have to watch it all day long… =P

What makes you think I wouldn’t RC my bison punch on your Guile again? Only thing that I can’t stop is your Guile’s sonic hurricane because that thing is like you said “Screw up”. I will RC that punch and beat everything else you do. But I couldn’t believe that you just stood there to watch the super hitting without doing anything after your hit stun was over. LOL
You have got to come on Saturday more, and get used to all the RC’s… then in the big tourney, it won’t suprised you that much.
We will do our best to get the entire arcade in free mode in the month of December… Details to be announced.

I am expecting between 16-32 people for cvs2. We had a 16 people cvs2 tournament just Calgary alone with no out of towner just 3 weeks ago.
