Looks like SFV didn’t do so hot in digital sales last month. Deservedly so, I guess.
I mean they already have a pretty dedicated niche market for themselves, however everything aside from the gameplay is trash. I have no idea why they didn’t quietly release it in Feb and do a huge marketing push for the complete game when they drop the march update.
That way people who pick it up without reading the capcom blog/forums aren’t confused when they buy a full price skeleton of a game.

for the record i’ve been looking a bit at internet reaction to this incident
and lots of people are saying that the kid is an idiot for looking at his phone, the kid is too young to have a phone, the parents are bad people for being so negligent, why is he not just taking in the game like a real sports fan would be, etc. some people even said they had “mixed reactions” to this save, as in i’m glad the kid got saved, but maybe the kid should have been hit in the face so he could be taught a lesson about not looking at his phone during an extremely boring preseason game in a sport well known for its slow pace?
this incident probably happened in under 2 total seconds from the swing to this photo being taken, and the entire internet is judging the boy and his family’s life, instead of being happy that a tragic incident was prevented

while i agree that todays society is far too engaged in technology during social situations than is healthy, man what a price that kid would have paid just to be looking at his phone. do none of these people put themselves in that kids situation and think how they would feel if it was them instead of the kid?
even if the kid was watching the game closely, something like that happens so fast he wouldnt have been able to dodge quick enough anyway.
My boy, we have very different definitions of women getting creamed :^)
