did you get dunked by bastion too many times or something
I don’t get dunked, i do the dunking familia
Meme skeleton bad english teacher
Hey ricky if you decide to sell your extra PS4 stick (if you still have it) lemme know and i’ll grab it from you. I’m gonna need one for revelator and to rep FUCCBOI cfn for sf5 :^)
desk is tryin’ his hardest man… trying his hardest
check it out, you can combo into sweep and then meaty a fierce, which might lead to a different link!
(i do appreciate the use of canceling standing normals into flash kick moves though, he has to do something challenging after all)
Every game that isn’t SFV at Combo Breaker has been way more exciting to watch. I even want to play Vampire…
But I really need to get back into MKXL. Such a sick tourney so far. Top 16 gonna be crazy. And 25% Canadians!
Sonicfox is in losers in MK and winners in SF. lol
Also everyone needs to be playing Total Warhammer pleases.
Canada vs UK grand finals of MKX were so good. An entire spacing war in a game where that kinda thing isn’t always obvious.
In big MK tourneys (and most FGs really) you see something you’ve never seen before. I dunno if we’ll get that with SFV and the linearity. I think that’s the big thing missing from spectating the game. Surprise and wonder. The major hype in SFV tournies is gonna come from people making it far with underdog characters.
Nice try.
Here comes Ibuki with goofy cartoon bombs and some naruto bullshit.
if she’s grounded footsies and gets no meaty off throw i will be sad
decent aesthetic though, ninja signs during her super are cool
I tuned in to sfv Top 8 and I was more interested in playing on my phone than watching. I’ve been getting more bored of spectating sfv every major.
there were a few good sfv matches in combo breaker top 8, but most of it was just kinda… i dunno
justin seems to be able to whiff punish in the lag, while most other people can’t, so he has a pretty big advantage
sfv top 8 was made way better by sajam and tasty steve, who are excellent on the mic and make everything more fun
ki top 8 stole the show again in my biased opinion, even if you don’t play the game or care about it, for some reason it’s just a fantastic spectator game
i almost went to combo breaker, actually, really considered it for a long time
I had a weird dream that they made Osama Bin Laden playable in Mortal Kombat.
Ultrachen with Tasty Steve and Sajam is the best. Cool to see that Nightwing player I’d play 15 matches back to back against every day (because nrs netcode) is doing such awesome things. I would love to go to combo breaker next year instead of evo. Seems more my kind of thing, with emphasis on the games that I prefer to capcom fighters.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SCVI BE AS GOOD AS SCII
SC1 is the best. All other SoulCaliburs paled in comparison.
But yes, the series needs to return to its basics.
Any version with Astaroth is great in my books. Except 3. 3 was poo (the 3 new characters to the series were all amazing, especially Tira, but everything else sucked)
I’m a big fan of Tira’s wacky random stance changes. She’s where I got my gamer tag from. That quirkiness other games have is another thing in the long list of things missing from SFV compared to other fighters.
Injustice 2 will run on the MKX engine and be out March next year. I was hoping they’d go for a new art style but I guess there’s not a lot of incentive to change when their games are selling so well :(.
Boring
so after all that mkx hype and at least two DLC packs with 4 characters each, the game is only going to last for 2 years total? i guess that’s common for NRS games, maybe by this time next year if they didn’t release anything nobody would be playing mkx anymore anyway? idk
Probably just the same 100 people still playing now at events. The new netcode added in MKXL was obviously just to test it for Injustice 2 so that it doesn’t have the same sad launch MKX did. MKX was one of the highest selling fighting games of all time (and even MKXL expansion outsold SFV on PSN…), but you wouldn’t know it from tournaments now thanks to the launch issues (unusable netcode on release, and the PC version being terrible, etc). Hopefully makes room for Injustice 2 to last longer with the lessons learned, especially now that they have a stellar netcode.
Sadly it doesn’t seem like MKXL reinvigorated the competitive scene.
