its all good we just don’t pick enough damaging heroes most of the time
only problem with rehgar is to be effective I can’t do any damage at all aside from throwing shields on people. have to be spamming heals and switching to ghost wolf to regen mana. we usually don’t build teams with enough damage or CC to offset that
edit:
oh ya his teleport is similar of weskers in mvc3 lol.
hahahah, yeah.
who knows how he plays.
since Charlie is basically a charger like guile, instead of playing as a turtle base charger.
I guess with teleport mix up, capcom design his game play to be more aggressive like so.
Man fuck Charlie. I don’t care about this stupid ass Wesker wannabe, lookin like Mr. Patch from Banjo-Kazooie with all those ridiculous staples and shit.
Lady grappler, hurry up Capcom. She can be Canadian and her stage can be this.
as much as id like to be wrong, but i highly doubt they would change bison as much as charlie has changed. maybe he might get his alpha fireball back, but since he is pretty much THE main bad guy through most of the games they would face a massive backlash if they changed him in the same ways they have changed charlie, a character who only ever appeared in the alpha games, who is also very similar to guile already.
imagine if they changed ryu and gave him a teleport and a bunch of other crazy stuff. While not as iconic as ryu, bison is still up there pretty high in the rankings.
It’s interesting to note the first three characters are all fireball characters. They’ve also designed all three to have some way to combat zoning - Ryu with his V-Trigger giving him extra fireball hits, Chun-Li cr.Strong slide and V-Trigger throwing two fireballs, and Nash having teleports. I wonder if counter zoning tools is going to be a continued trend with each character design. I’d like to see Bison with his Alpha fireball back.
The fireball game is already shaping up to be incredibly retarded. The only way around it I see so far is giving grapplers really fast, screen-rushing command grabs with hyper armor.
Just charge straight through the fireball field and clobber them, like a Juggernaut Headcrush. Also give them one hit of super armor at all times, like Hulk in MVC1 and 2.
You are completely and utterly wrong Josh. The fireball game in SF has sucked since SF3. Capcom has no intention of making it remotely powerful because people bitch and moan about it incessantly like you just did when it’s an effective strategy.
Don’t worry about it because every character will have 300 ways around fireballs. Just in case, they also seem to have absolutely horrendous recovery.
