ryu reg fb looks bad. Like -6 on block or something. Chun literally swept Ryu fb on block and supered it. Super not so surprising but sweep! His v-trigger fb looks good, but ryu v-trigger in general looks like it lasts a whole 2 seconds.

His V-Trigger permanently buffs his fireball giving him 1 additional hit on it for each time he activates it and it carries over between rounds. You’re not winning in the fireball war against Ryu after 1-2 activations and the chip damage would start to add up. Whether actually zoning will be viable in the game remains to be seen but it just feels like there’s a lot of anti-FB tools with what they revealed so far.

He was bottom tier in vanilla ae and is bottom tier in ultra. Maybe if u weren’t intruding so many bootyholes you’d know lol
Also didn’t know his trigger permanently buffs his fb. That’s pretty big considering how fast meter builds in this game ( by the looks of things so far). I think zoning will be as viable as it is on sf4, not a huge deal, but important enough to know fb patterns.

youre my boy Amine but there’s no way Ryu is anywhere near bottom tier in Vanilla. he was one of the best up there with Sagat.

The shotos only sucked in world warrior (no knockdown on dp or hurricane). Then again, that game was utterly retarded and everyone is broken (Guile most of all).
They were upper mid to top in ever other version of SF2.

I thought the Charlie trailer was the best thing Capcom has produced in a long while. I just don’t like that every normal in the game hits like Guile’s stand-fierce.

get real amin ryu has never been worse than midtier in sf4, and actually top tier in a couple of versions

You’re on crack Amin. FADC dp, one of the best supers in the game and unnecessarily beastly normals means Ryu was never terrible. He has never been worse than mid in any SF4.
Frankly I’d say he’s been top 15 in all of them.
