I’ve never been interested in Nintendo’s characters, so I’ve only gotten Sonic, and am looking for Mega Man. If anyone sees one send me a tip :).
I’m pretty sure the game doesn’t allow you to input another jab with the jab button already depressed, so if you plink with jab~jab, the first jab pressed results in a jab, and the second jab input does nothing.
As for 3P, stronger punch buttons always have more priority in the input hierarchy, so if you plink with jab~3P, the first jab pressed results in a jab, and the subsequent 3P input results in a fierce punch.
I haven’t actually tested it, but I honestly don’t think there is a way to plink a raw jab without select. What was your test?

I’d like to add that he’s also like… the only happily married superhero, and his wife has crazy-awesome-murder god powers.
Also, the casual fanbase for MK sure is ginormous. IGN specifically talked about how much traffic it generates on their site in a podcast this week. One of the highest of all games, period, and that no other fighting game comes close (I’m guessing that doesn’t count Smash). Said if traffic numbers are anything to go by the game is going to sell a bajillion copies. I’m really hoping MKX acts like a catalyst to boost the FGC even further, maybe even in Calgary. Could even be like a gateway into other fighting games for a lot of people.
I’m hoping the game has an Xrd-esque “teach you how to play” mode, or even something better.

also to answer your question josh, i cant play skullgirls on pc since i only have a crappy laptop which wouldnt run it, so unless i get a new one im gonna be on console for a while.
the tutorial in mk9 was butt
