I will save us both trouble and add you to ignore now. I am not giving someone who acts like you do the time of day. I enjoy arguing. And it’s funny seeing you get all defensive and aggravated over the constant tripping over yourself - resorting to calling people “fucktard” (there’s enough studies out there to show what resorting to that means in an argument). But only my friends, or anonymous internet idiots can get away with calling me names. If you ever call me anything again, you really better hope that you try and remain the latter and not come out on the 27th etc.
While I realize your social disorders cause you to not understand the difference between this and the real world, you do have to know that actions have consequences.
Permadeath, usually pretty difficult, randomly generated maps, content, etc. The new rogue-likes also feature incremental advancement after dying over and over.
Diablo, Binding of Isaac, Faster than Light, Rogue Legacy and Darkest Dungeon all fall in the category.
The original Rogue and Nethack were more like, “you die, you gotta do it all over”
Gameplay varies significantly from one to another as well.
Basically what Mike said.
Roguelike games have insane replay value because they all have randomly created levels and loot.
You will die a lot but each time you die, you level up or keep the loot that you found which makes each new “run” easier until you eventually become strong enough to beat the game.
every roguelike game has a different leveling up mechanic. Roguelikes aren’t necessarily turn-based. i prefer action roguelikes such as Binding of Isaac, Rogue Legacy, Spelunky.
its easily my favorite gaming genre. the formula is super addicting. i dont like my games complicated. i do enough thinking at work so i just want to come home to some mindless fun.
Calgary Flames. Down 3-0 in 3rd period vs the bruins. Comes back and ties it 3-3. Backhand shot from Brodie, deflects up in the air, alley oop, bounces off Tuuka Rask’s back and into the net with 3 seconds left in OT. Crazy ass game.
Kanye West performed the first track of his upcoming album during SNL
It’s called “Wolves” and features Vic Mensa (up and coming Chicago artist) and Sia http://cdn.phoenix.intergi.com/18939/videos/3344979/video-sd.mp4
(Starts at 2:30) He starts with Jesus Walks and then goes into Only One (The lullaby to his daughter), which is alright, but his voice gave up on him during the performance. Some people say it’s symbolic for something or something, but whatever.
Mensa and Sia are talents, tho.
re: Kanye & SNL 40th Anniversary - I especially liked the part where Wayne and Garth were trolling him. Made all the more funnier because Mike Meyers was the unfortunate guy to be with Kanye when he blurted out his infamous “Bush doesn’t care about black people” line.
As for his music… I dunno, I skipped that part lol.
