I had something huge planned where I completely trashed him and his work and now I don’t get to do it and I’m a bit salty about having to scrap it because I thought it was hilarious. So in lieu of what I had planned, I need to make callous statements to vent. Therefore I am showing respect by not going through with it.
It is very sad that he died, but to me it’s also inconvenient.
looks like nintendo may soon (or may have already) issued a C&D to project M devs
siiiiiiiigh, would be worst gaming news i’ve heard in years
looks like D1 and GimR, two big figures in the smash scene responsible for streaming/commenting on apex matches, were issued NDAs/gag orders by nintendo to not talk about PM or stream PM content ever again (since GimR took over the streaming contract after alex strike quit the apex team)… looks like nintendo is trying its best to squeeze PM out of the scene quietly, but is ready to do it forcefully if the scene isn’t willing to accept that
Mike, the potemkin stuff is just really tight I think? I think you wait a split sec to cancel it too?
I didn’t partition, that’s for sure.
I’m playing Leo now. I’m god awful, but he seems pretty fun! Being able to sonic boom and then immediately flash kick is pretty rad. But… something tells me he’s probably junk?
hate to say it, but what did they think was going to happen? If your whole plan for not getting shut down is hoping a giant multi-national company ignores you, it’s not a good plan.
At the rate things are going Project M is going to get a C&D from Nintendo if the community keeps pushing the game. Just streaming the game seems risky altogether. I think NWM might be the first FG major this year that’s including Project M so we’ll see what Nintendo’s response is after wards. The community can still hold tournaments for it but they probably can’t stream it and just upload to youtube after wards.
The Potemkin 6K loops are really tight. Pretty sure the only player that does them at a somewhat consistent level is FAB.
The Japanese put Leo as B tier and Zidane in North America is making good headway with the character getting 1st at TSB and 2nd at APEX. Basically, the character has the grappler struggle where it’s hard for them to get in on a character due to limited mobility and tools but once they’re in they have all these mind games to take a round quickly.
