Overall, Toshi-Gekitotsu was pretty hype but there were some complete blow outs. I think my favorite matches were Koichi vs Lox, Takehara vs Mugen, Susumu vs Machaboo, FAB vs Sako, and Ogawa vs Daigo. Daigo did surprisingly well but it felt like Ogawa was sandbagging him at the beginning. Ogawa’s ability to adapt to opponents in longer sets is on par with Daigo’s, imo, but he still gets tourney nerves. I’d like to see Daigo continue with Guilty Gear Xrd going into Revelator but he’ll probably just concentrate on CPT for the rest of the year.
