I’m super stoked for Godzilla, i’ve never really been a fan of the older movies but this versions trailers are getting me hype trying to figure out who the other monsters and shit will be.
Also, this is so good omg
That shot of godzilla getting nuked in the 50’s by the pacific islands gets me so hype for the movie.
I have some theories regarding the storyline.

ok, there are a few things you can put together by seeing the trailer - obviously there are lots of different monsters that Godzilla will be fighting. But where did they come from and why is he fighting them? why now? If they blasted him into oblivion in the 50’s wouldn’t he be dead? There are some scenes showing them exploring and finding some radioactive type technology, and even the inside of a giant dead monster too. Another thing – the character portrayed by Brian Cranston is giving a speech on how they are hiding something, right? If you look closely, one of the wrecked cities is obviously Las Vegas. Perhaps Area 51 (near Vegas) is actually a place that has been used researching monsters like Godzilla? they’ve escaped – thus giving them a reason to seek out or resurrect Godzilla to HELP us. Godzilla has classically been portrayed as the protector of planet Earth, if this is the case I’m going to be so pumped. I’m a huge 'zilla nut… Lol.

I’ve seen all the movies. Made my mom rent a different one every weekend as a kid. So excited the new one is looking like they might bring back some of that lore.

I don’t think Electro is a bad villain, in the cartoon series they had him written as the son of Red Skull, they could have (if they were even allowed) had the movie segue into parts of a Captain America movie. That or they could cut the shit with using spideys worst villians as spots in a movie. Most of his villians are really one dimensional and tend to come off boring.
Scorpion Rino and Shocker have as much depth as Sandman and are just as bland. It would be nice to see Beetle in a movie, that character is fuckng sick. Kraven would make for a very good movie. So many idea’s could be used with him, he could be a teacher or a random hunter, the character has allot he can roll with. The issue with the goblins is they have been done to death. While he was prostrated perfectly (aside from the suite) and took references right out of comics (Gwen stacy was MJ on the bridge and actually died in that stunt) (Green goblin kills himself the same way in the movie)

We just seen too much fucking Green Goblin, we seen it in the first movie we seen it in the second we seen it in that trash third movie (pseudo goblin tech), it’d be the same shit with Hobby, unless he turns into an actual goblin and leads into demo goblin giving us a sick segue into a movie based on the best spidy game (Maximum Carnage). However I think we’re sooner to see a series thats akin to spectacular spider man than anything else so you will get your Scorpion =/
I think Shocker is interesting just because he’s more like a Flash rogue (blue-collar goon with a moral code… And he makes for lots of hilarious, pillow-based jokes from Spider-man). Hobgoblin would be awesome if they based him off of Mark Hammil’s interpretation and did a Goblin War story at some point.
Maximum Carnage is soooo 90’s. Almost as 90’s as Spawn and poofy vests. I approve.
