Depends who comes. A lot of players in the scene have sort of moved past the tournaments and prefer casuals (myself included), but there are still a good number of people who would play in a tournament if one was run… the 4D guys + foger, mostly.
Looks like the hockey lockout is over! I’m glad I guess, because I like hockey, but this lockout has really put a bad taste in my mouth, so I don’t know how much I care/how much I’ll be watching this year. Thinking of withdrawing from the pool I play in every year too…
How are they gonna run a complete season? They’d better play like five games a day or something.
They’ll run a 48-game shortened season (a normal season is 82 games) that will start (probably) on Jan 19th. Players will get injured because of the crazy amount of games per day + coming off a long layoff, and the team that wins the Cup this year will be the team that gets luckiest with star players not getting stress-related injuries.
They’re only playing teams inside their own conferences at least

How does that TAC glitch work again? Where you do one exchange and then immediately side exchange and they can’t tech it? How exactly does it work
basically you need to do a TAC from a neutral state, (ie not after a chain), and then cancel it with an airdash. morrigan can do it from her fly i think and spiderman can do it after a webswing. it was my understanding that if you mash direction + S to try and escape it then they would be unable to tech the second TAC thus making it basically a mindgame of one TAC or 2 TACS. However they could always tech the second one when i tried it with spiderman (trying to get untechable TACs for frank leveling) so i basically abandoned it. it may not do that for the other characters though.
PS Zero is one of the say 4 characters in the game who can actually do it too as if he didnt have enough already.
i havent watched the video but i can guess it was used as anti phoenix tech which is very clever actually. Fchamp mashing side exchange to preserve his meter, so you down TAC (making champ unable to tech again for 15 frames) and then you side TAC and steal the meter from them anyway, since im pretty sure its the last TAC that the CPU counts for meter gain/loss purposes.
