back in the day, especially around vanilla sf4, he was trying really really hard to get a scene in USA.
and he went to mexico alot exclusively just to play kof.
and then he just had no love for the US scene, he joined with the mexican crews to play kof.
he had a really sick geese though.
I don’t really see how you can’t view his tone as arrogant and douche baggy when he goes on to say he wants to embarass people at FR to the point of crying after wards. I’m not sure what was said initially to motivate him to make a video like that so maybe he was justified with his comments…no idea though. I don’t know all of the past history with him and other US players, but based on the conversations I had with older KoF players, like Laban, people don’t like Dark Geese because he has a very arrogant attitude, and belittles any player he considers lesser then him.

i mean i cant really fault the guy if he lives in mexico, why would he travel to tournaments in the US if he doesnt care about money? he just wants to face strong opponents. i think the make them cry comment is like a negative-reinforcement thing for the usa to step their shit up

Fighting Jamie’s Vega always helps my game tremendously. It also proves that trading against an air normal is preferrable to blocking when you dont have a good reversal. I’m also forced to play a counterpoke game against him, a skill which I will never develop when playing against most of the cast. We’re so lucky that a player like him is in our city.
