i’d like to see the sales figures up till now for that game. i hope that the rumors of it only selling 30k a few months ago were true, maybe it will make capcom wake the fuck up
i dont really hate the game, its fun as shit, but it has way too many core problems that keep me from wanting to play it really competitively
thank god kof came out. the game is as fast and intricate as marvel without having mindblowingly stupid design flaws all over the place

I still care about Marvel. 10 out of 10 times I’d rather play it than Street Fighter and it is way, way more fun to watch. high level Marvel is so sick, my favorite game to watch at most tournies, provided the top 8 is not full of Magnetos
marvel’s big problem when you sit down and play it is that the neutral game is godawful. easy shit is a little too powerful so even though you can take Marvel to ungodly extremes and be super technical with it, it usually devolves into low level combo fishing. especially if a tri-jump char is involved… those guys are a nice concept, I guess, but in practice they are just so stupid. they make Marvel Marvel but at the same time make it so Marvel is not marvellous
KoF has a lot more in common with SF than Marvel… great combo system though

never felt this optimistic for about 2 years we WILL make the playoffs because there is no question Kips has been the man this year, goaltending and defence hasnt been an issue. its the scoring that has been an issue. now that we’ve got that covered… heheheh
picking up Cammi is a good deal, I’d like to see us do something with defense still too though
our team has more depth than I would have thought. we have 8 guys out but are still winning games… a bunch of guys I’ve never even heard of before have been scoring for us lately. Like, who the hell is Blair Jones? last night’s OT hero… we just picked him up very quietly last week
