he jumped from around 10th place I think. I think he went up because people have been figuring things out with him, mostly by copying things from Mago haha… imo he’s always had such a great toolset it was just a matter of time before he moved up.
Akuma splitting the #1 spot with him makes perfect sense to me too.
I still think Dictator is too high… I really do not understand why people think so highly of him

That tier list is okay, I guess… I still think they have quite a few numbers wrong, but overall the list is okay. (Fei is probably too high though)
I feel like in the list people finally accept how insanely good akuma can be. he’s like seth with health. he has every option for almost every situation imo.

I stand in disagreement with the sim matchups.
Akuma v T. Hawk should be 6-4 Akuma and not 7-3. Fei and Dic are both 5-5 imo. Viper is 6-4 for Hawk and Dudley is at LEAST 6- Hawk. Juri is 6-4 Hawk (or at least 5-5). Guy and Hakan are 6-4 Hawk.
Hawk is the only char I can comment on in the list though…lol. I agree with the top 3 more than the last top 3 though.

Yeah they have a complementary shuttle that hits up Harrah’s and Bally’s just outside, I remember 2K9 it was awesome, cuz the Rio has the 24hr All American Bar and Grill as well as one of the best Buffets ever!
For sure, but I don’t see how Hakan is 7-3 in Sim’s favour at ALL. Hakan’s ability to slide or air to air everything weighs that match fairly heavily away from 7-3. Guile down from 7-3 to 6-3 is a lot more sensible. Dictator v Sim is NOT a 5-5 match. Sim can anti air Dictator sure, but he has no reliable way to beat scissor pressure. Boxer should have stayed 5-5 imho. Ken should be 6-4 in Sim’s favour because the only trick he has that Ryu doesn’t is step kick which I can poke anyone out of easy. Cody I would say is 5-5 since is he gets in he has enough tools to make my life miserable, Gouken should almost be a 6-4 in Gouken’s favour,
The rest look okay though. Even though I still think that Able v Sim is a 6-4 everyone disagrees with me so I’ll keep that to myself.
nope, it’s a 6-4. You have to channel a little Ume though.
Yeah, I don’t think those Hakan numbers are right either… Sak seems a little low too… Makoto/Gen/Gouken are better than Sakura? Seems a little hard to swallow IMO.

I would say Dhalsim is the hardest match up I have with Ryu, Got mostly the rest of the tough match ups figured out. No longer scared of Rog, or Bison (thanks angry Mike)

I just want to see them get up to the Eclipse like in the tv series. There’s a lot you have to edit out even from the anime which already cut out quite a bit. Just need to keep the really important ones like Zodd, hundred man kill, and the eclipse. Keep in mind that Berserk takes a long time to do because it’s on a bi-monthly schedule and the mangaka puts in an incredible amount of detail into his artwork. Guyver has been going on for 26 years now and I remember seeing and reading the manga back in elementary school.
I honestly would like to see a tier list created purely on the opinion of the best players of each respective character. After seeing more and more posts in this thread and other character threads Kevin is really right when he says everyone shits on their character. I think the results would either be hilarious or extremely accurate.

Fun playing halfsies with Phil (and Mike C). The longer I play in a session, the worse I play. :sad: I was doing really well early, and by the end we only won when Phil played twice. :lol: And I still can’t ever beat Balrog.

There’s 23 more points beneath that for about a fifth of the cast and even Hakan is below that.
So, everyone is good… but bad tier characters are bad. that sort of thing.
