CA chip kill is unfair to grapplers!

Of the god knows how many games I’ve played so far, I’ve died to a chip kill once.

I have to be honest and these guys had good points. I can argue or admit that I may have looked at it the wrong way. It just made sense when I thought about it. You have to credit them for not just saying “L2P scrub!”.

Bait that critical art friend.

I did some testing with R Mika 5% health vs Necalli Wake Up Super at any distance

>Can’t Jump
>Can’t V-Trigger
>Can’t V-Reversal
>Can’t Backdash
>Can’t Reactive Super
>Can’t Butt Splash

The only thing she can do which works 75% of the time is EX Wingless Airplane and you have to do it fast as fuck.

Edit: To make it simple if you don’t have EX and you’re in chip kill range with Necalli in a block-string, you mines well unplug your stick and handshake or ALT-F4 for you RQs

This would really be a tragedy if Mika was the only one that fell to this. Anyone blocking the chip is going to die. Most characters don’t have an invincible wake up attack and have to rely on either blocking or some other work around. Fact of the matter is; if you’re in enough games where you’re so low that a CA is chipping you out enough to complain about it; you’re doing something wrong.

If you’re on the magic pixel and you don’t have an invincible. Nothing will save you from the CA.

Especially in a game where damage gets dished out in heaps. Compared to SF4, the LACK of chip is fantastic. OP needs to un-bitch and play some games where chip comes from all specials, not just full-meter CAs.

It’s like UltraSF4 caused some warp where even tech learned during SF4 was forgotten. The hell.

Theoretically, command throw supers come out better off here. Aside fron the fact that they can’t be blocked meaning they have a better chance of killing someone not at pixel health when blocked, you can also combo into them now.

Hold up?

cheating ass v trigger ryu

anyway, dude has a character that can wipe out half of your bar and he’s complaining

I will say that Nash super does a redic amount of chip damage

Nash: 60
Rashid: 60
Chun Li: 60
Ken: 60
Bison: 60
Vega: 60 (5+55)
F.A.N.G. 11 - 61 (11, 11+11, 11+11+11 or 50+11)
Dhalsim: 56
Ryu: 55
Cammy: 50
Necalli: 50
Birdie: 50
Karin: 45

If nothing else, he might have an easier time than anyone landing it if you count V-Trigger. Also, by the time someone reaches low enough health to where they can be chip killed, damage scaling will make the actual chip damage way less than the numbers above. Unless of course CA chip isn’t affected by it.

Did? Did this man admit he was mistaken… on SRK!!! Shit I’m not ready to go to hell, I don’t have winter gear yet.

I’m starting to notice some people bumped down to 500-1000 lp that were high lp before, so I guess capcom is slowly working through all this. Nevermind this thread, think about all the submissions we don’t know about. Probably will take a while.

Survival mode just ragequit on me on stage 48 hard and kicked me off. REPORTED

You know, if just one… just one 09er would have said this back then… a whole war would have been prevented… casualties would have been avoided, ban hammers wouldn’t have started.
Where were you hero?

In Guilty Gear, you can negate all chip damage if you have tension in your meter. Street Fighter has always been like this. The only SF game that had anything resembling chip negation was Third Strike with parrying.
