Had a great time…

Been a while since I had been out to a tourney so much that I’m “old school”:confused:

lol. Anyways, it was great to see alot of people I hadn’t seen in ages. I’ll still be in the area for a few months so I might make it out to another one.

Exodus: good seein ya’. I’m not really aggrevated about 3s…I just don’t get it really :rofl: I still owe you some cash hit me up with a PM and I’ll paypal you or I can give you the money back next tourney.

Kikin, Eric V: Good seeing you guys again also. I saw Victor there too…crazy.

Rugal, Steve, B-more Chun: Thanks for the practice matches, letting me roll with you guys and overall critiques given about CVS2. Those are much appreciated, and give alot of insight on things to help better a player. If only we could get more people to see that type of encouragement would strengthen the SF environment.

MOD: Nice meeting you, and playing CVS2, I know it’s not your game–so it was all in fun heh:rofl:

I guess there are only 2 things I wished were better. That place needs 499437540975344450 fans or something–it was hot musty summer underarms in there.

And, if someone is gonna put me in a MM, PLEASE let me practice first–and have some crowd control:sweat: Then again I’m a pretty quiet and reserved person now so I guess I wasn’t used to that anymore. I just wish I had a chance to practice and comfortable. All in all it was fun, GG B-Chan.

I’ll have to bring a towel for my MAS stick next time, that floor doesn’t hold MAS sticks in place like carpet.

XD Kind words. Man, I’m still so hyped about last night. First time in so long I’ve played against competent people in PF. I was mostly expecting to come to C3, play a few casuals, and cry in a corner over getting ass-raped in insert fighter here.

It’d be really hot to see Puzzle Fighter HD make the list for next month. I was so happy that Shen was able to pull together what he did and get a legit tournament underway late into the night. Man Shen, don’t put off our matches no more! Makin me nervous sitting around!

I think X’ mode made the selection of a broader range of characters somewhat more viable; it’s really nice to see brackets of other than Ken Ken Ken Ken Donovan Ken Ken… I miss the old version, but I like what X’ has done to the game. Pickin people like Gouki and Devilot can be a little frustrating considering the drop patterns, but there are ways to work around it. AND you could always do that beastly Chun-Li rushdown. ^^;; It might’ve been Nos who tried that scary shit with me one casuals game. Put me on the ropes for the entire match, miraculously pulled a win outta my ass against that strat. @@

This is Eric V and I was in winners grand finals…and we played 2/3 stryder match to decide to split the moneys …I was up 2 sets little boy, Victor was comin out of losers…???

I think it’d be retarded. Nobody would enter ST, I wouldn’t enter 3S, and generally there’d be fewer people in each game.

Good job running the tourney, guys. I’m hugely disappointed in myself, but it was great seeing everyone!

Well all I can say is, that C3 was great. Almost every regular came, it was great to see everybody after awhile. There are far too many people to shout at this time. All I can say is awesome games to everyone. And good thanks to advice. I’m going to work on my defensive game before the next C3. Got to play safer in 3rd.

i’m going to work,so i’ll give shout-outs later, tourney was fun:tup.Next month we imma run teams cuz that shit is tooo much fun to miss.The tourney ran pretty well.I’ll help out next time if i’m allow,i notice brandon and kimmicks had too much on their plate.To run multiple games it’s not easy.

I’d prefer 5 dollar tourneys for reasons previously mentioned (more numbers for games).

I’m thinking about raising the price to attract more out of towners, which makes the tournament more fun, IMO. Most people won’t travel for $5 tournaments.

I don’t see what’s so hard about saving up $10-20 more over the course of a month to pursue your hobby. Only person I see that has an understandable situation regarding this is Ultra David, and hell, I’d supplement the $5 per tournament for him.

Every other community that congregates at C3 has $10 tournaments. GG, Tekken, Smash… we’re the only cheapskates.

What about $7?

I can agree with 3s, CvS2, and GG:AC being 10$.

But I think ST, MB, and MvC2 should be 5$ or less.
