So, yeah, to get away from my stupidity, I wonder if FFF SJC Ultra can work on Gief. If I land EX TK on him in the corner first, it leaves Viper really close to him. So maybe it’s possible to land that combo on him.

you dont want BK in there, and you want ex tk because it scaled as if it is 1 hit. (i believe)
so a 2 hit ex tk (120 dmg) is > than other single hitters
Ok guys so I was messing around with some safe jumping in training mode today. Lo and behold look what I found that works on Chun Li when she does an SBK wake up reversal. I think this only works on chun li with viper because when she does J.HK it makes her hitbox smaller so it allows her to fit “inside” Chun I suppose.

I’d imagine you can ultra after this but the spacing of it isn’t too hard, I think you could do it off of a back throw as well. Try it out for yourselves!
blackalpha that works with a lot of other characters afaik.
ken can do that with angled jump strong or fierce. ryu can do it as well. option selecting ultra with ken does damage on the bitch but i dont know if it will hit the backdash. ryu can option select super or ultra and hit the sbk (super trades, allows ultra followup) or the backdash.
Dunno if this known (it’s pointless anyway) but st.FP > EX Seismo > SJ FADC > FP TK works. It crosses up and you might end up inputting the TK in the wrong direction.
Been messing around with fff into ex seismo into meterless fadc into medium knuckle tonight. Damn good way to get your opponent into the corner. Need to practice it more.
Yeah sweep is better for micups because you have more options. You can meaty sj j.rh after medium knuckle though, and it sends your opponent flying across the screen so it’s good for spacing, and if they’re anywhere near the corner (around 3 squares from the center in the training room) you can follow up with fierce knuckle for that extra bit of stun/damage.
Because it doesn’t work midscreen without the sj fadc.
u knw vipers focus crumple BNB Seismic combo, im struggling because when i cancel the 1st fierce it immediately keeps going into her hard punch thunder knuckle rather that CR Fierce. i doing pretty good for a xbox360 pad viper
I’ve been messing around w/ HP TK feint for awhile now and I’ve noticed weird properties about it. When you do the feint it lowers vipers body and puts her in a weird crouching animation and she immediately recovers from it. Well those are the basics the weird stuff I’ve noticed with HP TK is that I tend to do it as an anti-air/anti grab sometimes, for some reason if you feint at the right time with it apparently some deep jump ins will either whiff completely or you can block it after the animation. As for throws I’ve used it a few times while people are attempting to throw me and most of the time ill do a preemptive feint and it will make the other character completely whiff there throw shits mad crazy has anybody else done this or noticed this at all?

That’s…weird. I know it can lower her body enough to make certain fireballs whiff, but anti-air and anti-grab? Never heard of that. BTW, ggs the other day. Sorry I couldn’t have another set with you, was playing a Ken on my friends list. And apologies for my Viper sucking major balls, lol.
Ya I actually did it in one of our sets when you had me in the corner i did a HP TK feint and it made you whiff your grab, as for the anti air you have to feint at the exact moment they press a button and it will completely whiff as well. Sure no problem yo its cool we all have off days, ggs though those were some pretty good sets.
Yeah someone posted a vid here a while back where they (accidentally) used a knuckle feint to duck under one of Boxer’s dash punches. Using knuckle feint in that way is prooobably incredibly situational and hard to pull off, so it’s probably not too practical.
Thanks for reminding me about it, though. I’ve been messing around a lot lately with ex seismo feint + TAS stuff with the PC version just to see what all is possible. Gonna have to mess around with this some too.
That was no off day for me, I’ve been failing pretty much all the time lately, plus your Viper’s the devil, lol. BTW, I thought you did an Ex Seismo feint, if that was HP TK feint, that is pretty strange.
Useless combo: you can do st.lkx2, st.mp, cr.mp>whatever ender you want. I’ve only done it on Balrog so far but the trick is not landing the jump-in deep, make sure you hit them as high as possible so that you end up closer to them.
