On another Viper/Vergil note. I’ve been playing with using the Spiral Sword formation 214S as a way to force the opponent to eat an unblockable either with a Viper raw Tag or Burn Kick.
Nice tech. Definitely high damaging. What assist do you use for Vergil? and does Vergildo well with Vajra? I’m curious because the team seems to probably have a few holes (out of DHC that is). IMO just curious on your match experience with the team.
Vergil can do a lot of cool stuff with Vajra. His OTG 3C counts as a normal so you can call at any point during the move, this can yield all kinds of dirty resets and mixup, or just a simple double OTG into super for a bit more damage and meter.
I’m currently using Burning kick/Vajra for Vergil atm. Vergil can benefit off of unblockables from the burning kick and pretty much what FlyingVe said with Vajra. I have little match experience so far with the team, I should probably post some match videos when I can. xd.
That just sounds dirty, I’m definitely ganna try this out. lol.
Nice vid showing Viper/Vergil/Strider - looks so good! The use of optic blast in those two combos is awesome too!
Hey Correa - here’s the knuckle combo working with black hole, it’ll work everywhere. Sometimes you just need to adjust the ender (like after jumping in the air after launcher). If you use dark hole and then beam, it always works and gives you damn good damage and meter. As for combo difficulty in the corner - I haven’t noticed any, maybe make sure you’re letting the knuckles hit all the way and also attack as soon as possible after the knuckle cancel?

Anyone have any tips for easier BK feint combos? I’m having trouble connecting the H after the second feinted BK.

Viper/Doom/Strider is a better team than Viper/Vergil/Strider. I guess ill look at the Vergil forum but I think he needs some sort of horizontal assist to help him. Strider assist is really good for Doom also
I like Vergil better so I’m sticking to him. I’ve got some tech I’m working on, but it’s not perfected enough that I feel comfortable making a vid or anything with it.
Vergil can use Strider in most of the places he would otherwise use a horizontal assist.
hmm your probably right. I think I just have to stick with this team and I guess practice. This was the first time I used this team offline but Ill develop it to be awesome also lol as Vergil is really fun.
What’s a good amount of damage for a solo Viper combo starting from 1 bar?

Can she break 1M by herself using only 2 bars?
WTB viper/dante/strider combos… the combo im using is wihout dante assist but im not sure if its the best

2M, 5H xx qcf+M~S, 5H xx qcf+M, 5M, 5H, 5S (1hit) xx dp+L xx normal jump xx IAD forward, j.H, j.S, 5M, 5H, S, sj.M, sj.M, sj,H, dj.M, dj.M, dj.H, dj.S, call Strider, dp+L, 2369+H, dp+L xx qcb+2 attacks.
I’m not home, so i can’t check the damage right now, but I think it’s over 800k. You can use IAD forward, j.H, j.S, 5M, 5H xx qcf+M~S, 5M, 5H, S for a bit more damage, and I’m pretty sure it still works.
Viper can break 500K before she leaves the ground, what an intelligently designed character. D:
I only started playing her more seriously because I miss Vanilla Task and his big damage numbers. Not that he doesn’t do big damage now. But…700k before a super? God, so sexy.
Yeah same here. I migrated to Viper because I’ve always had a mild interest in playing her and the spider-man damage nerf pushed me over the edge. Doing her combos makes me feel like I’m back in vanilla again 
Broken Viper is the only chance I get at beating anyone in this game.
