Also dont forget Yang. He would be so badass in SfxT.

Yang makes every game better.

Need…to…stop…playing…XIII-2…must lab…in marvel.

Yeah I really should be labbing up my Doom and getting down the shady k/clock loop wall carry stuff and the TAC crap. Vergil is my anchor so I guess I can take my time with him but I’ll have to learn his point game eventually for some of the matches where Doom will have trouble.

My brother is all occupying my space watching Craig Furgeson. Can’t concentrate on combo grind with all of that Scottish yap.

haha i only brought marvel with me to college so i got no choice in what else to play lol.

Also deviljin is it really worht learning the clockwork loop I feel the buktooth loop is just as good. you can get up to 771k with 1 bar using that combo. im not sure now much clockwork loop gives you though

Same, can’t get any Marvel done. Been too long since a good Final Fantasy.

See, the only game I own is Marvel. And Vanilla. Had fallout 3 but it was borrowed, so that’s gone now…

Is FF putting their games on XBox now, or are you guys all PS3 players?

Xbox. Ps3 was too expensive, and now it doesn’t really have any games I care about. Even if I had one, I’d by all the multi-plats on Xbox for Xbox Live.

No love for 12?..Then again 12 is like that ignored step-child.

12 was definitely a good game, but it just felt… below… the standards set by 6-10. XIII-2 is at about the same level as XII in my book, XIII is the worst, but nowhere near as bad as people like to pretend it is.

See, I’d be willing to get a new FF game since everyone is talking about how good it is, but I never played FFXIII.

PLaying XIII would really help with the story, I mean, it’s not directly related, but the mythos aren’t really explained. So I would play XIII first (you can get it for $10). Besides, XIII isn’t a bad game, just kinda average, which is very, very disappointing for a main FF title.

Well, haven’t they all sucked since XI?

XI was actually pretty good, and XII was also really good, just kinda off the beaten path. XIII was really close to being good, but it missed the mark in almost every area. Even if only by a smidge, it never really got anything right, so it comes off as pretty bleh…

I really loved 12…but I don’t know why. Maybe it was the battle system, the difficulty, the upgrade system or the character or the summons. I just really loved that game I’m sad I never finished it.

But I agree 13 was slightly disappointing but FAR from bad. Also 13-2 summarizes 13 really well.

FF10 and FF7 are the best. seven had some really cool characters like cloud, vincent, and tifa. and same with 10. Tidus, Lulu, ad Auron were all badass. They were awesome games. I think capcom should ahve a capcom vs. square enix cross over or something. seperoth in a fighting game would be nice

Well, 12 is really different, so it doesn’t surprise me that there are people out there that really like it. I think it suffered from having too much grinding, too much automation, and weak characters. However, it excelled at giving you alot to do and explore, which is a really big plus.

I think my heirarchy:
X
IX
VI
VIII
IV
VII
XII
XIII

It’s worth mentioning that I think that the best RPG’s I’ve ever played (in order) are:
P4
FFX
P3
ME2
KOTOR
Dark Souls
FFIX

See, the only FF game I’ve ever played was X, and that was pretty freakin’ awesome. Whenever I told everyone how much I loved it, they’d tell me that it wasn’t that good and others were better, so I just figured I was missing out on the really good stuff. Which is why it confuses me, Ve, that I’m noticing you put that at the top?

FFX is hands down the best FF game, and I can prove it.

Most of the criticisms are stuff like, “It wasn’t like the old ones”, or “Tidus was annoying”.

The most valid complaint I hear is that it doesn’t have alot of side quests. Which I will concede. It does have them, but nowhere near like in previous games. Way more that 13 though.
