Yeah I see discs having the most utility IMO. Discs basically are like 3 small homing Phoenix salty balls that fire instantly as an assist. That’s going to have lots of utility for anyone with a command dash or teleport long as you get space to safely set it up. It’s kinda like being able to use Dante’s multi lock as an assist.
I was thinking of using them with Firebrand because both he and the assist seem so versatile. They could help him control air space, lockdown, zone, do cross ups with Hell’s Elevator, etc. Just wondering what other people thought about it.
EoA will be my assist of choice
I need a lockdown
I’m gonna be running him 2nd aswell
I.still can’t get over how fast that teleport is
Do the disk travel full screen?
and if Strange is touched will they still come out?
they do yes
and no they dissapear , I don’t think we will have another tk shot type projectile ever
Yeah if they didn’t disappear they would be better than drones so yeah kinda have to expect the disappear thing. Dante has 2 Phoenix like tracking projectiles (hysteric and multi lock) and they both go away if you get hit. You can move around while charging multi lock but of course you can’t block either.
all independent projectiles/moves disappear now
Can’t wait to rock Shuma (point)/Strange (mid)/ and Tasky
^save for Dormammu’s dark spells

Based on what we’ve seen so far, you all think Daggers could serve to help relaunch when paired with an otg-capable character? In my case I’m looking at pairing Strange with Felicia and either Dorm or Hulk. I know the timing’d be really tight.
That aside, can we confirm when their hitboxes activate? As soon as Strange pulls them out or as they begin moving? If the former, I’m hoping they might serve as a slight AA/jumpin-deterent based on timing.
I have on clue, Im planing on using Bolts as his assist to help Dormammu.
Bolts + carpet = stupid, lol
yeah this is interesting. I like the changes made to Dormammu so that he’s stronger offensively and I might give him another shot. Vergil however just seems too stupid to pass up so… we’ll see. lol. so ready to rock Strange/Vergil/Doom and mess around in the lab.
currently sent bombs assist come out whether hes hit or not. on point and as assist. its alot better than people think it is for that exact reason.
-dime
Oh you will like the new and improved Dormammu, with the adjusted air combos Dormammu will be able to do the double Dark hole air combo without the use of a TAC. Drak spells all around buffs, finger shot cancelable into specials for tricky cross ups or feints into charges. etc etc, Dormammu will be a force, much like how Blackheart was however Dormammu will be his own monster.
R.I.P BLACK!
Not only that, but Im guessing that once I OTG with Flame Pool Im hoping Strange’s bolts will hold the fighter long enough for Dormammu to get a dark spell charge and extend the combo.
Blackheart </3
I’m definitely liking the Dormammu changes so far, especially the finger shot being cancellable into teleport and whatnot. Dorm (purification)/Strange (daggers)/Strider (dive kick) sounds like a really solid team. Dorm and Strange both have really good assists that complement their defensive and offensive games respectively, and you have the insurance of XF3 Ouroboros nonsense in the back.
I think my doom/dorm/strange team will have insane synergy. Can’t wait for ultimate
^Strange makes for a good anchor?
I wonder Hows strange going to deal with other rush down characters when there in his face?
It’s not like Strange can fly and air dash to safety like Magnus, all his teleports are for rush down purposes, and illusions is still risky.
So I guess a get off me assist might be needed.
That’s not my exact order
Long as you have meter Spell of Vishanti will have people worried. It’s basically a metered get off me move that you XF into another one. In XF3 that will most likely really hurt or kill people. In XF you’ll be able to crowd the screen with mystic swords and discs out. Once you can a L or M discs on the screen that should be good for offense at that point unless they start trying to super jump from you. I think the bigger issue with putting Strange as anchor is that up back will kill your XF and then you won’t have the damage you need to amount a comeback. If the opponent runs to the corner where your ports can’t cross they’re most likely going to have problems.
I’m sure XF projectile teleport mixups will beat people up sometimes though.
