I haven’t gotten the chance to watch recent gameplay videos/Assist Me, so sorry if this has already been answered but… Does anyone know whether or not his counter hyper can be done mid-air? I didn’t see anything about it in the OP. This could be a problem to those who plan on playing Trish-style Strange if you can’t cancel your “traps” into a counter hyper mid-air. That is, if my assumption is even correct that you can do that on the ground. UMvC3 can’t come fast enough!
you can cancel into the Book, which might as well be a counter hyper, in the air.
Being able to do the counter super in the air would be kinda OP I think so I doubt it.
Strange has an extremely fast recovery teleport so he’s going to be more of an “offense via projectiles” character than Trish. You will be able to lame with him if you want but the idea is going to be more so to crowd the screen with enough M discs and agomottos that the opponent will not be able to block the right way anymore when you teleport and get hit by shit. Like having your own assists for your berserker slash.

Thanks guys, I really should be paying more attention to new vids of Strange. He definitely gonna be on my team in UMvC3. I mainly asked this because of a conversation I had in another thread, which made me think: I’ve seen a lot of people do jump, trap (sorry, I forget the name. Grace of Hoggoth?) or super jump, trap. Wouldn’t someone like Ryu just be able to do BEEEAM XFC BEEEAM and kill Strange outright if he’s setting up… Something?
