he can do multiple graces in the air. I don’t know if that’s a special case or not.

So if everything follows suite we should be getting an ultimate assist me tomorrow, he is probably gonna cover a lot of ground we are already familiar with but hopefully he posts some new shit. At the very least it’ll be nice to see a week 0 advanced strange combo since he does that for every character.

first post. so far all we know is Y is the one you should be going for as it powers up FoF. R graces should be treated as bombs that you detonate on hit with FoF. I assume they cause a good amount of hitstun as well, so you could probably extend your combos with them.
Strange’s best combo potential will probably revolve around what you choose as your followup after a crumple, i.e. on the ground. an assist that covers the vertical space (Hawkeye’s up arrows, Doom’s hidden missiles, and Jam Session immediately come to mind) will be essential to his zoning game imo.

ha I seem to do this is most games I play but once any projectile is on screen that’s a free mixup
plus he looks like he has 3 solid assists
I don’t think that Strange will be a “zoner” per se, I just think he’ll be more like a “counter-zoner”
No one can shoot projectiles at him or you get a full combo.

they changed the commands for mystic swords , (why?)

air impact palm causes almost soft knockdown hitstun and you can do relaunches with teleport or just floating down
mystic swords looks like it has the highest durability in the game
max didn’t seem to have many combos but I can tell It’s going to get crazy

why no mystic sword loop? It wasn’t mentioned and wasn’t tried. The button that does it shouldn’t change anything.
Also I thought he said ‘otg with disks or’ but maybe I heard it wrong 
Finally, we’d had reports that Illusion worked against projectiles (specifially Ryu’s fireball) but Maximillian was saying physical only. If its a nerf its sad, but honestly one that makes sense.
That relaunch combo was some sexy stuff and it doesn’t even seem that impractical if you happen to have your opponent in the corner. Overall not a bad vid, showed some of the interesting combo possibilities of the good dr which was really all I was looking forward to.
