- X-23 (Best rushdown character in the game until now handsdown. She was on everybody’s team before release. S-kill was also overhyping her.)
- Trish (Top players said she was top tier, so everybody thought she was top tier. “She can rushdown and zone, soo top tier!”
- Dante (I guess Capcom wanted the top tier on their side now! Twoo mhany muves!)
If anything makes him top tier its that this nigga says “Yield, Dormammu” after he beats him in one of the gameplay videos. Anyone that uses the word yield is top tier in my books.
But nearly all of them are in the top of the top. X-23 and Sent are the only ones who didn’t live up to the hype. I was hyped about everybody.

I wonder what his third assist is if he has the Bolts as one and the Disks as another. I doubt it’s Flames or the Eye, but the counter special also seems unlikely and it’s not like Flight or Teleport, so I guess that leaves…Mystic Sword? I guess that makes sense.
Speaking of that counter special, I’m kind of hoping that throw animation is part of the counter and not just something he did as a punish. Because he if can normally counter people and do whatever he wants…well, actually, that might not be horrible given that Wesker can technically do that already. Then again, that’s Wesker…

Then again we also thought Iron Man was gonna be top tier for his speed and Chun-li was gonna have a godlike lockdown assist. Oh and She-Hulk was the eternal mid tier character.
IMO X-23 did live up to the hype but it requires her being with 2 or 3 specific characters. Unlike most of the other high tiers she isn’t scary just by being on the screen with any old set of assists. Sentinel basically did live up to the hype until people realized that…he actually didn’t. LOL.
not to mention that storm was touted as god tier (omg did you see what hail did to that assist?) LOL

I remember the talk about Trish. People didn’t say top tier, they said “God Tier,” as if she was just too epic-- remember rofling from my arm chair because it was post-beta impressions of her as well. X-23 from S-Kill hype is pretty funny. The only top tier call that made any sense was Dante for sure. And to be honest, Sentinel was pretty broken off top with 1.3mil health, until they chopped off 400k.
I know X-23 is dangerous but most prefer to go with Best Friends or the bitch.
Thor/her both are bloody dangerous with teams built around them but no one ever does.

Strange looks like he’s going to have the fastest tracking teleport in the game so I doubt he’ll even have an air dash. We’ll see.
Most likely he will, but it’ll probably only be a 4-way. Giving him the ability to Tri-Jump on top of all of the weapons he already has would be bordering on broken territory.
