Its 89 for the normal, but for added sanwa its 162. Id be able to buy the 90 one and max it with sanwa for about 30-40 which comes to 120-30. Besides if these are imitation sanwa and fiol vouched for them being great quality and can hardly tell the difference, then i could live with the imitations until the back orders clear up and can order parts.
I really want the ones of the chinese auction site, but it is proving to be so much of a hassle, and im wondering if its worth it. I might just buy from ebay and order sanwa parts and wait. I don’t really trust a third party parcel forwarder anyway.
About the HK agent… i completely trust him, i wouldnt have any worries ordering from him… he s very responsive and helpful but still you have to decide… the shipping cost to US by ems is 370HKD
for all your guys buying stuff keep us posted on these stuff. Im very curious on buying this… but i have no clue wth it says or if its sanwa or anything or if it is even for the 360 haha
Do NOT buy from the Niking.Niking guy on eBay that sells Chinese made joysticks. I received mine today and 4 buttons came broken off from the wiring. The materials are EXTREMELY cheap and I plugged it in to my Xbox 360 and it doesn’t even work. I’ve also tried testing it on my PC and my PC doesn’t even recognize it.
Save yourself $115.00 and buy a quality joystick and don’t spend it on this piece of junk that doesn’t even work. I’ve emailed the Chinese eBayer and am currently trying to get a refund.
Damn jeenyus sucks to see that. I bought a similar stick from another seller and i imagine im going to receive the same generic parts. This would be my first stick is it at all salvageable or a complete waste of money?
I should receive mine soon,it’s actually in the plane from china, now they are at a $89 starting bid with free shipping, i paid 159 Australian dollars to nickingnicking
Is it the same as the one pictured in the post #117??
The PCB they used (which is an official Xbox360 controller) was completely dead on arrival.
The buttons and joystick which are all Chinese made imitations I would assume are working but I have no way to test them out since I have no PCB. The buttons feel similar to Sanwas so no problem there. The joystick however is so,so. The shaft is way too long compared to a Sanwa so lapplay is very hard. However it feels alright.
Since you have already ordered I hope yours works. Please post about your joystick when you receive it.
However for other’s please save your money and buy a Hori, Madcatz or best of all a custom made joystick from one of the respectable builders in the trading outlet. DO NOT under any circumstances buy from a Chinese joystick seller on eBay. Shoddy Chinese manufacturing at work here and I if the seller doesn’t respond with a full refund or send me a working replacement I’m filing a claim on his ass.
The holes made for the buttons aren’t a tight fit so sometimes the buttons will pop out. The top panel is made out a cheap wood. The casing is made from cheap plastic, the packaging was awful, no bubblewrap or anything. It was just packaged in a cardboard box with a thin layer of soft plastic that some groceries use to cover their fruit. The whole joystick weighs next to nothing which isin’t too good for lap play either.
Anyways I totally regret this and am once again without a joystick for God knows how long…
It really sucks to be waiting for something and when you finally receive it, it doesn’t work…
