The Anime Club at Chico State is having its annual Mini-con and with it I’ll be running the game room. Here’s the rundown:
Location: Bell Memorial Union (BMU) 2nd floor room 204

THE ACTUAL CONVENTION IS FREE
Time: Game room opens @ 2PM for Casuals and Signups
Tournaments start at 4PM sharp (if you plan on making it but cant come early call me and I’ll put you in the bracket)
AE 2012 (Xbox 360)
-5$ entry with standard 70/20/10 split for prizes, there may also be either gamestop or amazon gift cards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
-Double elim
-99 seconds, 2/3 rounds 2/3 games, random stage (unless both players agree to a stage)
-Loser may switch characters/ultra. Winner may change ultra after character selection.
-BYOC (but I will have a couple wired controllers and 1 stick for use if you do not have your own (but try to bring one.)
SSBM (Gamecube/Wii)
No entry fee!
Prizes will most likely be giftcards for 1st 2nd and 3rd place
Double elim (may change to single elim if we have a ludicrous amount of people)
4 Stock, 8 minutes, no items 2/3
If players cannot agree to a stage within 30 seconds the stage is on random
We should have enough gamecube controllers but if you have a preferred personal one (wavebird, etc) feel free to bring it just make sure its marked as to not mix it up.
We should also have a system set aside for casual play of other games (Persona, Mahvel, etc)
