Running to the chopper, m00b gets taken down by a hunter. Amordien and Deathysthe do the noble thing and help him out (I said fuck it and hopped into the chopper). Amordien gets mobbed, DS gets clocked by tank rubble. m00b GETS TO DE CHOPPAH.
That wasn’t me that got hit by the Hunter… I killed it and Amor tries to cover me as I’m helping DS up.

I was using Zoey at the time, I didn’t know someone shot the gastank and why it would be so close for the inferno to creep up like that. I think I was already hurtin’ too.
I don’t mind going down in circumstances like that. I was trying to cover Amordien who was pulled back by a smoker then mobbed by zombies after he and m00b got the Hunter off of me. Didn’t even see the Tank let alone the rock until it hit me. Not my best performance that night but by the time the game was over I could hardly think straight, way too tired. Think I had 9 friendly fire incidents which was ridiculous, though some like my being a dick to AI Louis were intentional. 
Though I am noticing a pattern of Amordien and myself dying in finales. :sad:
As for the gas can the other night I am pretty sure I didn’t shoot it and I am pretty sure Zoey didn’t burn until after the first incap. If you look in the shot the fire is way too far to have spread and burned Slide. What burned him was the molotov you see about to be thrown.
You were right Slide. I’m going to end up getting this game for PC in addition to the 360 version. I bought a barebones PC kit a couple of months ago which is currently just sitting in my basement and I think I’m going to get off my lazy ass this weekend and put it together.
I swore that I wouldn’t play this game with randoms again but there are times when none of my XBL people are on and I have to get my Left 4 Crack fix by running with random people.
I’ve had this game for a little over a month now and it’s a great feeling when you realize that you’ve transitioned from a burdensome noob to a dependable veteran. You start out not knowing where to go, what to do, or where to look, and a few weeks later you find yourself coaching and commanding like a natural leader. Last night was extremely retarded for me though because I was playing Dead Air (on Expert) and my team was just amazingly bad. Like, really really bad. The guy playing Zoey would consistently lag behind plus he was playing splitscreen with the guy playing Francis and they only had one mic. In games with four competent people I’m usually the support guy. I almost always come in with the least amount of common infected kills, but I’m usually the one who ends up with the most teammate saves because I’m constantly shoving common and special infected off people’s backs. But not this game. When the stats page came up I had the most Boomer kills, Hunter kills, Smoker kills, and most saves. I was barking out orders and saying, “Watch your back!”, the entire time. These guys would have stray zombies directly behind them beating them square in the back and wouldn’t turn around. I had seven friendly fire incidents because of shit like this.
Dead Air - Construction site. We had to play this like three times. We leave the safe room and are heading down the alley towards the open area with the ladder to blow up the barrier. I’m playing as Obama. We get to where the ammo is and I see that there are only three people around. Zoey is still in the safe room. I say, “Um, Zoey, what the fuck are you doing?” Zoey is controlled by the guy playing on splitscreen who doesn’t have a mic. His boy has to relay any and all messages to him. “Evan get up here!” sigh We get to the open area and the Tank spawns. Great. I set the bitch on fire and start running back towards the big square just outside the safe room so we can just ring-around-the-rosey until this motherfucker’s pocket is no longer full of posies. This is probably the most optimal place to fight the Tank in the game. “Haul ass back to the big square!”, I plead in vain. Guy playing Bill complies, but Francis and Zoey decide that they want to stay and watch the pretty flames dance on the Tank. Genius guy playing Francis announces, “We should just go back in the safe room!” I know how that plan ends. I say, “No! Just run around this square until he?” Tank incapped Francis. “Ah dude he got me!” sound of shots being fired All I can manage to say is, “Seriously? Like, seriously?” sound of slab of concrete being ripped up from the ground Tank incapped Zoey. Seriously.
Bill and I survive the rape session and head back. The AI director grins as a Horde spawns in the alley. Typical. I yell, “Back up in this corner Bill?!” Bill takes two steps back but not into the corner. I’m meleeing kids off of him from the front as he stands there shooting like a coked-up Tony Montana versus an entire army. I take your fuckin’ punches, I take your fuckin’ punches!!! I say again, “Back up Bill!!!” He’s still standing tall. Infected are now beginning to jump off the roof directly on top of him. BACK UP BILL!!! Bill finally backs up to where I’m at and realizes that they were coming from above. He starts meleeing and says, “Thanks for the warning.” :bluu:
Dead Air - The Terminal. This started out pretty good. Before we even leave the safe room we hear a witch. She’s downstairs in the open lobby area where the van is. I know we’ll have to deal with her eventually so I come up with a plan to dispatch the hoe. I tell everyone to grab a hunting rifle so the four of us can shoot her in the head at the same time. We all take aim. “On the count of three: one, two, three” blam blam blam blam Ding dong the bitch is dead. Great. Then it came time for the van crescendo. Boy oh boy. I suggest that we fight the horde in the closet up stairs and Zoey and Bill somehow managed to get killed. Afterwards it was going decent until we got to the room with the metal detectors. Zoey and Bill were already dead. We get to the globe and there are a shit-ton of wandering infected. Francis runs ahead and starts blazing. He clears a good amount of them before getting incapped by a stray that was right behind him. “Behind you Francis!!!” Huh, what? Francis gets incapped by a lone infected. I go to pick up Francis and I hear, “RaaaaaaWR!”. Of course a Hunter would show up. The AI director twirls his curly mustache, mocking me. I melee the Hunter off Francis, kill the Hunter and hear “PLAIGHTZ!” Smoker. I kill the smoker. Then comes the horde. I see the other two spawn in a nearby closet so I just leave Francis on the ground to go get them. They come out and manage to save Francis. Dude gets pulled up and is like, “Dude that was so clutch saving them like that.”
Fucking this.
I took advantage of the half-off deal on steam this past week and got it. holy god, it’s crack.

It’s my brother’s account on pc, which is better than my piece of shit junk. I get on mid day or late at night (6-11pm PST). I also got a mic. I play on advanced, i’m not all that great but i can hold my own.
Shoot me a steam message. I mostly play versus, and am much better at playing/teaching people how to play that, but I’m down for some campaigns. It’s good to change pace every once in a while.
And RedSunMisfit has been running some games with the group I usually play with, and he’s getting good. If any of you wind up wanting in sometime, shoot me a message on steam. They’re usually friends-only lobbies where everyone in there knows how to play, so the games are solid and no one quits.
yo, you definitely got to this game on PC man. When I got this new PC, some games I hsouldve just waited to get and got them for PC instead of xbox. Like this, fallout 3, and Mirror’s Edge.

And yeah man, I feel your pain, on the xbox one. What ends up happening is that you look like an asshole that barks out orders. It shouldn’t be a big deal, but no one wants to be playing a chapter on a campaign for 4 hours, fun or not. People be playing like master chief man. The whole team is responsible for the fun experience, there can be one guy that ruins it for everyone(like that guy you mentioned playing split screen).
Just wanted to say how much i love this game lol, been playing with my friends non-stop. Currently we are just trying to make it through the co-op campaign on expert and no matter how many times we die it is still hilarious every time. Especially when you get a Tank in the most random of places lol

My play time is sporadic, as my schedule allows, so i haven’t dipped heavily into versus yet. Just spurts of freetime to get some campaign mode in, but i’ll eventually move on to versus. im shooting for this play availability: Most days, i’ll get on at 1pm-3pm PST, and try to be on between 4-11pm weekdays. Weekends, i’ll play it by ear.

Good games to Amordien and DaDesiCanadian. That was unusually painless, I mean there was some pain but less than usual. Which probably means we are fucked tonight.
We’re fucked as soon as Valve patches our lucky pet rock. I’m telling you, there’s going to be some Diablo-level retribution. The rock will act as a summoning trigger for ten tanks at once.
