You can! Look up the cheats. You’ll find one that allows you to target and erase whatever you have your cross hair on at the time. Just mouse over the other three, input the command and BAM! You are free of friendly fire and other idiots running in your way!

Playing alone, you’re basically praying never to get hit by a hunter or smoker. And taking down hordes of zombies coming at you from multiple angles. What? I doubt you’ll even have enough ammo to finish a chapter.
You guys are probably right, but you must admit it’d be one helluva challenge (on higher difficulties at any rate). And challenges are exciting, after all. Though not necessarily fun, as this one most likely would not be.
As for running out of ammo, I think skilled melee attacks over & over could possibly counteract that.

You can do semi decently playing alone. All I would do is start a single player game, call a vote for Expert, shoot my AI teammates, vote it back down to normal, then simply not release them from the safe rooms. I believe they are released automatically for finales but it is unlikely you will make it that far.
Things are alright if you take it slow and run to choke points when horde events are triggered. Can even catch most hunters and smokers before they get you if you are careful enough. Where you run into trouble is the tank. When it is just you and him and he is only focused on you instead of chasing your buddies things get messy quick. That and ammo is a problem like Desi mentioned.
Also, for the next DLC pack I propose one new survivor. Simply so no one ever has to play as or with Francis ever again.

This was an unusually bad game for us. Started to feel bad for Slide. He was being careful and trying to look out for us and usually we just ended up shooting him.
