I need help!
I have been waiting for this game for more than a year…
and now that its out, this piece of shit dorm is somehow blocking me from playing it… well the demo doesn’t work, neither does cs:source
what it says is “searching for games” and then it would immediately stop and say “no games found”, then it would go back to “searching for games” and immediately go back to “no games found” over and over again. It seems like it can’t connect. Someone mentioned something about the IT dude blocking ports or something like that.
Could you guys please help me out?
Is there a way to forward ports or something like that? How do you do that?

Just got done playing… and getting griefed. It seems that this is a game to play with friends. Although the possibilities of getting betrayed in a real life zombie outbreak is quite real also. :tup:

Man, this shit can get addictive after a while, um glad I wasnt the only one waitin for a co-op zombie game. Reminds me of the old school zombies at my neighbors game, shit was like hot fire for me. I’ll be on later and tommorrow if any yall wanna play.
I dunno about playing with friends. Try doing it with FallingEdge once and you’ll see what I’m talking about. 
You need to forward port 27015 if your router runs in stealth mode.
If you have a firewall it should be fairly straight-forward to open the ports yourself. You just add an exception for the ports you want open. If you are behind a router you should go here for more info.

Playing with friends make epic failure much more tolerable, and even funny. Otherwise I feel the replay value goes way down with easy griefing.
