Well to answer the actual question, which is “What would Batman do in this situation” not killing the kid is one of the things he would do because Batman doesn’t kill. Considering his training and backround, he would either disarm the kid, or just scare the shit out of the kid until he dropped his weapon cuz thats how Batman do.
But i guess for giggles, if this kid, with a bad fade, somehow managed to get the upper hand on The Batman to the point he put him in life threatening danger then yea it would be ok for him to take the kids life. He wouldn’t, but it would be ok.

Goku kills only in the interest of protecting earth and people who ask for help. He even attempted to save freeza after their battle. But Freeza attacked again, forcing Goku’s hand. Not only did that it piss Goku off that after giving a generous offer, Freeza threw it back in Goku’s face by trying to kill him again.
