27 x whiffed pinwheels = 1 bar (super charge cancel ftw)
40 x fuhajin stores = 1 bar
Combos:
Basic cross rush off a j.hk = 0.33 meter gain
Main BnBs = between 0.25 and 0.4 meter gain
1 fuhajin BnB = between 0.35 and 0.45 meter gain (you can get 0.6 in the corner because of cr.hp)
2 fuhajins BnB = between 0.5 and 0.6 meter gain
3 fuhajins BnB = 0.6 meter gain
Blockstrings:
basic blockstring = between 0.1 and 0.2 meter gain
1 fuhajin blockstring = 0.25 meter gain
2-3 fuhajins blockstring = between 0.3 and 0.4 meter gain
Misc:
Getting hit by 1 basic cross rush = 0.2 meter gain
Getting hit seems to build slighty more meter than blocking.
Eating a lot of damage =!= a lot of meter. Some supers deal 500 damage and barely give you any meter. So it’s the amount of normals+specials that decide how much meter you get.
Yes, blockstrings build more meter than blocking. Normals and Specials on hit build 1.6-2 times more meter than on block. And the meter you gain from being hit by your opponent or blocking his attacks is like 3 times less than what you get from your blockstrings and combos.
Super Charge Cancels are a ridiculously good way to build easy meter in this game. Unfortunately, Juri’s dash and backdash don’t allow her to abuse it like some other characters can.
I’ll try to update this thread in the future with more details.
I’m way late to the party on this, but awesome information to know. I need to incorporate that into my gameplan since Juri is really the battery for most of my teams.
