I’ve decided that I might just sell my madcatz tvc stick, because hooking it up via the wiimote all the time is starting to become very annoying (plus the wiimote stops and starts frequently)… unless there’s another way of maybe modifying the tvc stick to fit the wiimote in there. I’m not sure this would be east though.
Recently I’ve been using my hrap1 ps2>gc converter on the wii.
Some people have taken 3rd-party Classic-Controller-to-Wii-Remote clips (because Nintendo never released any official ones) and glued/screwed them onto the side of the casing so that there’s a place to mount your Wii remote when you play.
If you did mount the wiimote internally, you’d need to make a window to have access to the wiimote face buttons as they’re required for navigating the wii menus and waking the wiimote.
I also leave the IR camera with a line of sight so i don’t have to switch the stick between dpad and analogue (you cant navigate the menus with the dpad controls).
The external clip down the side would be your best bet for the TvC stick, mount the wiimote like a little fire extinguisher.
