Building a Linked cab. Need advice on Flat TV's wtih no lag

Just like the title stated I am building a back to back cabinet and I need to buy two 24" flat screen TV’s so that the cab doesn’t have to be HUGE to fit normal tube TV’s.

Any recomendations? My main concern is lag on any signal converting. If there are any out there that accept a RGB connection that would be even better so that I dont have to buy a RGB converter.

I would like to keep the cost under $250 per TV.
