Well i miss you guys just as much as i miss my hometown friends. We’re all tight.
I did finally find some people who are gathering about 40 minutes from my school, going to go check it out. Hopefully they’re all way better than me. I don’t want to get there and be busting skulls, I want to get better, not turn into their version of Jug and Jeff and rape all day. 
We shall see.
Oh, and im going to a tournament in Lowell, MA. There i don’t mind busting skulls. I want my turn to get paid.
If you wind up being better than them, that’s a potential opportunity as well, depending on how they take it. You’re pretty laid back so I imagine it’d be hard to stay mad about losses lol. Anyway you should be able to offer advice and tips for them to improve if that’s the case, I’ve talked with you about the game and you’re on the right track. So if it’s a situation where you wind up beating them, try and run with your role as a mentor and teacher, that can also help you tighten up your technical game if you play your cards right.
And yes I also hope you crack heads at the actual tourney, lol. Make that money.

I want to book das EVO hotel soon. I want a headcount of everyone who will be there for sure. No maybes, only fo sho’s. So far I know my buddy from Jacksonville, Brian+Brian, Kyle, and Phil have expressed interest and definitely want to go. Evidently the evo discount rate is on the deluxe rooms…I didn’t know that, and when I priced it out separately I went with the crappy room. The deluxe rooms do look pretty baller…and i totally wanna do vegas in style. Cost isn’t bad especially if we split with 555 dudes. So hotel rate would be about 170 per night if I booked for 2 people, or 195 if I booked for 4. I don’t know if that would get us extra pullout sleeping shit or what, so I’ll leave that decision to someone who has done more travel than I have.
So, to give some solid numbers for you guys, with room booked for 2 people (lolol)
Cheapo room: $825.00+taxes and fees…around $924 for 6 nights
Baller room: ~$894.00+taxes and fees…around $1000 for 6 nights
Most of you will probably stay Thurs-Mon…so here is the breakdown.
Cheapo room: $625+taxes and fees…around $700 for 4 nights
Baller room: ~$596+taxes and fees…around $667 for 4 nights
Well, to be honest with you, I didn’t do the math beforehand and just saw it was cheaper for my intended stay hahaha, so I guess evo discount is the way to go.
(I plan on staying Tuesday thru Monday…I am going out there with my current and soon to be former assistant manager for Tuesday and Wednesday evening)
Regardless, if we split the cost of hotel is like 150 max per person…if we have 4.4 people, which we wont.

I am down with whatever, I will pay whatever. Since I am that rare gamer who is capable of saving money and planning ahead, I can afford whatever is needed 
My plan is to get there thursday afternoon and leave monday or tuesday, doesn’t really matter. Staying at the venue would be beneficial for all of us. Also if for some reason if we need more ppl, I can invite any number of ppl to stay with us. But would rather make it the Buffalo lair, so if we end up killing a hooker by ‘mistake’ we can keep the secret in house…

hey celes went to this used game store today and they have a bunch of arcade machines for sale, most are crappy or not in good condition but there were a few that looked ok. there is a tekken 3 cab for 300, a sega naomi cab, not sure how much he wanted and there was one i really wanted, a saturday night slam master cab but again no price. i know the owner so i had the clerk tell him to call me and i will see whats up
