Keep in mind this is 100 percent theory, but i think its the slowest of her 3 weapons and as such the hardest to pick up in a game as fast as marvel.
I don’t even think its that, people are just picking the weapon that works for them best n rolling with it , for all we know she could have some combos that involve heavy weapon swapping

Oh well it was just a thought lol. So how does her counter assist work? Does she come out and SPD them if she makes contact? Or does it like stun them and leave em open for a combo?
pretty sure its the former. All the assists I’ve seen work exactly like the move they’re based off of, or just about.
The real question is “What version of it is it, projectile or physical?”
It’ll probably be the physical since that has more applications than the projectile.
Does amaterasu’s elements hyper continue to cycle even if you DHC out of Sunburst first?
I am not sure but I think it doesn’t unlike hailstorm. But Ammy>Storm all the way.
Do Dorm or Trish have anything that compliments Ammy well? Strongly considering that team. (Trish could be replaced by Dante, I’m not sure yet. My sig is inaccurate, lol)
In the video that WGE posted earlier today, [media=youtube]X32AGogiw5Y#t=1m32s"[/media], am I just seeing things or does the shield get thrown right through a ducking Amaterasu and it doesn’t hit her? It also seems like it hits the paper behind her and instead of doing the normal return just reappears in his hand.
I saw it go back through her on the return in the first video when she was using the reflector counter, but I assumed it was some property of the reflector move. But here, she’s just ducking it.
This has been posted a couple times now, but it’s still the only video where I’ve seen a weapon-switching combo.

The second combo is sans any weapon switching, but still a fairly impressive sword-only combo.

Question. What assist is everyone going to be using to compliment Amaterasu? Im thinking that because her airdash looks pretty underwhelming, we might want something to keep them in place so that we can mix up our approach on offense? But I dunno. I really wish we had seen more assists from OTHER characters, since I think that would help the Ammy theorycraft.
