I was kind of curious as to how they’d handle Ammy, but wow she is pretty incredible. Combo machine, speed and absolutely ridiculous looking supers. I believe she’s probably going to take damage like Karas or Roll to balance her out.
Looking at what Thor did to her…that seems to be the case.
How do you guys think she plays, because i see her switching weapons do you think it she will be like tvc mega man in that she has a command that makes her changed weapons and her moves change depending on which weapon is equipped at the time or will each weapon be a special move in itself for example, df punch performs a sword.
@Saitsuofleaves: I think that was a combination of Thor’s ridiculous damage output and Ammy’s low stamina.
When I saw her switching weapons I immediately thought of TvC Megaman. She seems to have different moves depending on what weapon she has equipped, and you can actually see that the weapon stays with her.
she’ll probably be able to string combos together by canceling certain specials into weapon switch to perform a link.
But even if she ends up sucking, people are probably still going to use her for DHC’s into her WHOMGFULLSCREENBULLSHIT super.
In the reveal Video that Ammy has all to herself, does any body else hear a high squeaky voice all throughout the vid? that does not appear in the others?
If so, could that voice possible be Issun!!??

I think it is. Look at the beginning of the video and you’ll see him jumping on Ammy. I was surprised, but happy, to see him getting in the game.
INTENSE HAPPINESS. Issun was one of my favorite characters in Okami! the idea that he’s gonna be there commentating the whole time gives me PROFOUND HAPPINESS!!!
Not only that, but I predict issun voice is going to be supremely annoying for opponents.
Yea thats what i thought, if it turns out to be true then nice it adds variety to the play styles on display. Cant wait for the character walkthrough so we can see what exactly that second hyper does.
The second hyper slows down the opponent for a moment. It’s pretty obvious in the other video where she uses it against Thor. He tries to jump away from her but she chases him down and airthrows him with ease.
Ammy really has such awesome hypers so far. One which fills basically the entire screen and is DHC friendly, one which will serve as a definate utility to allow her to rush down, and then we don’t have her level 3 yet.
I find it weird that capcom is being so tight lipped about level 3’s so far. In TvC they showed them off without any secrecy.
