I personally am looking forward to trying out chris, dante(even though im sure he is gonna be the new ken masters), trish and obviously ammy. So far the only marvel character that intrigues me is thor, the rest are honestly just “meh”.
While I hear Niitsuma said that her hitbox wasn’t an issue. It’s kidna worrying how she dashes under Deadpools guns in her debut video.

But the question is, is that just a property of her dash, or is it due to her hitbox?
Ammy probably has a generous hitbox that encorporates her solar wheel too. And notice that she’s quite a prett big wolf.
Im really happy to see that some of the predictions I made turned out to be true. She can use the time slow-down as a super (which looks like it’s going to be so annoying to deal with lmao! I hope it’s broke) and she can change equipment. So top tier! A couple of surprises too! The one power I didn’t mention (the Okami equivalent of the hookshot, where you draw a vine onto the flying flowers to pull yourself to a new location) is in the game! I wonder if this gives her a pseudo Hazama playstyle. Im totally digging her. Im a huge fan of this character and Im obviously maining her day one. Get hype!
The vine move actually looks like an airdash to me. But we’ve seen her using a different kind of airdash. Perhaps her mobility changes depending on which weapon she has out?
You could be right. I have been put all day so I just saw the trailer and haven’t really had much of an opportunity to study it. Still, could make for a very dirty character if she has that much control over where she moves to, especially I would imagine with the right assists.
The vine is a bit slow for an airdash though, and quite obvious when it comes out, so I’m not sure it will be a useful tool for crossups. However her other airdash is very fast and short, and she can dash in 8 directions it seems.
She’s quite fast otherwise however, and depending what she has out on the screen she may be able to pester people effectively depending on where she moves. She also has that time slow, and who knows what kind of shit that will let her get away with.
DHC out of slow mo super into hulk so he can actually catch up to keep away characters? possible application?

slow mo super after knockdown > punish roll
only problem is that it seems to have some startup and cooldown, so I don’t think you’ll be able to just randomly throw it out in a lot of cases.
yeah, but i think DHC would be a more useful application because you could give the slow mo time to a different character that can benefit from it more

Keep in mind that it reall doesn’t last very long. In a DHC you’re going to get a short combo out of it at best.
