Yea, it’s what i can get the most games in with the biggest amount of play styles so it’s what i’ve been playing. but i’ll playing anything. I’d like to get some more of the fatal fury thingy matches (is that what we were playing?). That was fun. And maybe some more Alpha. Don’t matter to me.
We should do a couple more round robins in a couple of games next time. Don’t care, SF4, 3S, VS, BB, whatever.
Or better yet maybe we can do a couple of Ranbats? Like something that would progress over time this way if people can’t make it we can hold off on it for that week. We could get some sort of bullshit prize like pizza or whatever. Figured we could get some friendly comp in that way. Do in a multiply of games. Guess it could sort of help people get better in whatever games we are playing. SF4, 3S, VS, Garou, KOF’s, whatever. I dunno, i’m just throwing it out there. Seeing as how anakron is good at that sort of thing (not volunteer you, just suggesting). =)

And about the ranbat, how would you guys like to do it? Should we take a vote of some sort to see which games we should compete in? Honestly the whole reason i suggested it is that i’d like to play and see others play some more serious matches. I think SF4 and 3S is a given, but we should get a couple of obscure titles in there.
I’ll leave it up to you guys to make suggestions. We can do this at AVC’s and my place. Or unless someone else wants to host a couple.
Let’s try to figure something out, i’d like everyones input this way no one feels left out that they aren’t playing a game that they themselves are good at. Between us all someone has to have, or can get pretty much any game.

Well it all depends on how people want to do it. We can do it by season or by every 2 seasons or we can just keep the same points forever although this isn’t exactly fair.
My take on it? We should keep the ranbats going for 2 seasons. Different points for different games. I think the winner should be the person with the most points OVERALL, however. If we all put in 5-10 bucks, that money can be used towards the prize in the end. :wow:
We should have like… 6 games? We can play 3 or 4 of those games every time there’s a gathering and the other games can be crappy ones like BlazBlue or w/e. I can begin to set things up for now however you guys will have to tell me what games you want to play. So we’ll do a vote. Everyone who wants to participate in these names 5 games they want to be there (in order) and I’ll tally it up.

I didn’t think you’d be on top of it so quick. Fucking awesome dude! And the money thing sounds great too! Should really keep the battles nice and heated at all times. The season is great too. Up to everyone else though, would that mean the longer the ranbat (say 2 seasons instead of 1) the higher the pot/prize at the end would be? Is this cool with everyone? Let’s make a set amount that goes to the pot. Can everyone afford $5-$10?

I beg to differ! CvS2 is a good one though.
I was actually thinking the $5-$10 would just be a one time thing. If you join, you pay it and that’s it. Anyone can join at any time. No quitting though. If you don’t show up for the ranbat you just wont get the points for it. If this blows up I’ll have to make a new thread with live rankings and such. 
But for now, I’ll need some more feedback.
Might even start up an IRC channel. Who knows?
Regarding TvC I did not say hard to get into. I said hard to get playtime.
I for one have never played it. Don’t know many who has a wii and those
who does don’t play fighters and don’t have sticks for it.
I don’t care if games are hard to get into as long as its worth it.

And also about TvC, i have it. If you want to play some practice games sometime just let me know. And if you understand MvC2 then TvC will be no problem for you to adjust. At least i tend to think so.
