Big-ups, BK! Didn’t know there was a thread for the Brook-heads. Anyway, I mostly get down in under-appreciated & poverty fighters (star gladiator, tmnt:tf, ranma 1/2, avg2, vampsav, etc.) and I used to play 3S but Melty Blood kinda grew on me over the years then eventually took that spot. Now, MBAA is probably the only recent fighter I get down in since I managed to miss my opportunities to get nice at SF4 and BB.
With that being said, here’s a bit of shameless promotion in attempts to try to build more awareness about the game and to hopefully try to build a stronger local community (NYC has but 5 regular locals but Tri-State + Philly/Delaware amounts to about 20 total). I’ll assume most of you here goto CF and get there w/o a problem (I live in Flatbush area and it takes just 20mins) so if you happen to be stopping by the arcade next week Saturday, come check out the MBAA tourney in the area when you get time. It’s just 3 blocks away!. We get pretty decent turnouts whenever the venue has been reserved. If you guys are interested, try to show up a bit early for casual play and pick up a few pointers about gameplay mechanics and such.
