I have the same mad catz xbox one TE2 and I was wondering if you are able to wire the LED selection button to the stick selector (dp, ls, rs) on the PCB or not. Also, this is kind of a weird question Iām not sure if anyone can answer, but, is it possible to make use of the small red LEDs above that area as player indicator LEDs or is the voltage not correct for those?
I just ordered one of these boards to upgrade my TE-S to prep for SFV. Are there any concerns I should have? It looks like touchpad support might be a big deal with this game, and using my old stick body might be a problem? Can anyone offer feedback on how this board would work with an older stick on SFV? Thanks!
Great! I never use the Turbo function. Is the touchpad button necessary enough to do the re wiring? Could I just have a PS4 controller to the side for these purposes, or would that not work?
This probably goes without saying but make sure the turbo panel board has power and ground in addition to the signal going from turbo button to touchpad key on the UFB. Stick a wire from the ground on the turbo board to any of the multitudes of grounds on the UFB, then just connect USBVCC on the turbo pcb to any VCC point on the UFB. After that just connect the Turbo signal on the turbo panel to touchpad key on the UFB and youāll be good to go. The nice thing about TE turbo boards is that everything is nicely labeled; youāll have a hard time getting the wrong points.
I tried putting a HRAP V3 Kai PCB into an originally 360 Round 2 TE with the Turbo board left in the panel (I was bored). Tried connecting just ground and the signals for Home and Turbo and couldnāt get either button to work. Wired up VCC and presto.
Yep, was going to do just that. Iām going to desolder and remove the header connectors on the panel board so itās a little easier to put in a wire for those connections.
