Brook Universal Fighting Board Thread

What OS are you running?

Also see if the IUSB3MON service is running and kill it, before the uninstall. Make sure you dont have anything plugged in your USB 3.0 ports, just a mouse and keyboard in your 2.0 ports.

This article may help you as well for the uninstall.

Uninstalling USB 3.0 Drivers

I’m running 7 64bit. I killed IUSB3MON but still can’t uninstall.

Is this a custom gaming PC or a manufactured Dell, HP etc.

It’s a custom PC

Did you disable xhci, can you also screen shot your remove programs screen and the error that your getting?

I disabled the xhci hand-off. As said there’s no actual xhci option.

Here’s screenshot of remove programs https://puu.sh/nCNhv/98a73a25ce.png
And here’s the error https://puu.sh/nCNbZ/091bf1e387.png

No thats correct.

Do you have admin rights to this PC, it looks like your uninstall rights have been locked down.

Man you are one step away from getting this to work, thats the uninstall that needs to happen.

Did you try the command line uninstall in the article i posted?

I’ve got admin rights. I tried the command line but I get ā€˜C:\Program’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file

did you type run first?

Yeah. Says run is not recognized as blah blah blah. I’m not good with cmd. Mind showing me how I would start it out? Just assumed run and then rest of the line.

so you went to START then RUN, and then typed in the command line?

and make sure you have that file structure. follow the file structure to see if its the same as the command

I tried using start instead of run and now I get this nice little error https://puu.sh/nCPfV/ebc284c39c.png

Send a screenshot of your folder sctructure to the uninstall file

I finally got it uninstalled. I had to write it out as start ā€œC:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\IntelĀ® USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver\Uninstall\setup.exeā€ -uninstall. Time for the moment of truth.

Yeah, now it just doesn’t even pick up the stick no matter what mode I force it in.

do you have the xboxone drivers installed?

These came from @GOGO.Zippy, I used these.

XBOXONE DRIVERS

Your headed in the right direction you got rid of the BSOD.

Yeah I got all the drivers. It wont even pick up my PS3 stick.

Did reboot after the uninstall?

Yep.

Try re-enabling the handoff, only thing i can think of is when you removed the drivers that disabled all your ports you removed something that wasnt supposed to be removed.

Have your tried to do a system restore to before you disabled your ports? Then remove the 3.0 drivers via the command?

Also make sure you mobo USB drivers are all up to date.
