Brook Universal Fighting Board Thread

Hi guys, I just Received my BUFB and it will not work on my ps4. I’ve updated the firmware successfully and it works on my PC and xbox one. What could be causing this?

I think you have to press home once it’s plugged into the ps4

Yeah my PS3 and PS4 won’t see it until I press the home button to “turn it on”.

Thanks guys

@eightbitminiboss
The UFB won’t work on PS3 and PS4…Do you take more pictures about it?

Zippy, my board is fine. I was confirming with Vicko that the home button needs to be pressed to use it on PS3 and PS4.

He got it working, he had to press home

@Vicko
Thanks your helping…

I haven’t seen any official response to this yet, so I’ll ask again:

@GOGO.Zippy Is it possible to make the TPKEY pin act the same way as the SELECT pin when the board is in PS3 or XB360 mode?

If there’s no firmware way of doing it you could do it with a physical switch

@oDHAOSo
I will search more ideas to decide…

Anyone else has W7 issues? I tried the PCB on 360, ps3 and W10 and it works on those three!
Tested on two different W7 computers and both get BSOD/locks up (exact same problem).
With my W10 computer I updated the firmware to 1.2 (success, after a few tries), still didn’t work on W7.
After that I tried manual detective mode and it worked on W10. I could plug the PCB in my W10 computer as Xbox One, 360 and ps4 (ps3 didn’t work probably due to missing drivers on my W10 computer).
W7 still BSOD/locks up when trying manual detective mode.
I also tried disconnecting all wiring/buttons so It was only the USB cable connected to the PCB, but it didn’t help.

Sounds like a issue on your Windows 7 computer.
Did you get a error code with your BSOD?

This is what happens when I plug it into USB 3.0 and 2.0. I get BSOD, after firmware update I get no more lock ups… :slight_smile:
I know what you mean but the weird thing is that it happens on two completely different computers with different hardware etc.
Could it perhaps be missing drivers?

i have a xbox one te2 thats has the crossbone mod. will this board with the crossbone mod. all i need to do is to switch out the ps360+ with the brooks pcb??? Tahnk you

Since the TE2 for Xbone isn’t CG and it’d be redundant anyway you’d be best off taking everything out and just using the Brook board.

ok i have led lights on mine. the regular that came in the ki stick. where do i plug that at on the board

iusb3hub.sys issues does point to a USB driver error. It could also be a missing driver file or a file than needs an update.
Check your PC or Mother board manufacturers site first see if their site have any driver updates

You also check out this

If you haven’t on those computers already I would also install direct X9.0C
It not overwrite your current Direct X, but instead include files than the newer Direct X versions left out.

Go to the link below and grab the latest version.

The 3rd think you can anyways do is see if there any updates for Win 7.

I fixed it guys! I was missing USB drivers for my motherboard!

Thanks @Darksakul for the food for thought!

What was your Fix @Lokomotivet ?
